I would let the ref do his job. Like I said, all that sucker punch did was ruin and shorten what would have been a good fight. That being said, Ortiz should have never been a Maywether jr opponent to begin with.

The ref did his job. He penalized Ortiz, and waved them back in. After that, Ortiz continued to try to apologize rather than fightwhen it was clear that Mayweather wanted to resume hostilities.

Also, Ortiz was WBC welterweight champion,coming off the biggest win of his career, younger and in everyone;s top 5 at the weight. He was a legit opponent for Floyd at the time based on that.
