How was your score up to the stoppage in the bootay vs froch fight?

U could make a case for Bute in the frist, and second rounds. . . But even those I think you can make better argument for Froch. . He pretty much swept it. . . i had it 3-1.


And then shattered him some glass. . .

 

I've watched it a few times now, and even though I was rooting for Froch, I definitely gave Bute the first round, and the second was either Bute or even. Froch was being very cautious, and although so was Bute, he still won on sheer output.

Then, of course, in round three Froch realized he had absolutely nothing to fear from Bute's punches, turned it up, and dominated every second of the rest of the fight.

 

He lost each and every round. He was beaten down bad. Career ending and by that I mean he'll be back on ESPN fighting up comers for a while.

First was close so could have gone either way. The third was a 10-8

 

Just rewatched it.

This fight was being fought on fairly even terms until about 2:00 left in the 3rd round. Froch threw a flurry and hurt Bute with a shot that it seems he never fully recovered from.

Even after that though, in the 4th, Bute had his moments. But Froch hurt him again late in the 4th. And then of course the 5th was a full on beatdown.

I didn't even think the first was close.

Froch landed the meaningful shots of that round.

Froch every round, 10-8 in the third.

An Froch was not landing anything harder than he did against Ward or Kessler. His left hook is still complete garbage, a slap more than anything.

Butes defense is horrible, as any real boxing fan knew after watching Andrade land on him, and his chin is bad. Like really bad.

Nope, he still gets beat by Ward.

Froch looked good, but still the same. He has a good right and a slapping left. he wasn't especially quick, and his defense is still suspect. He wins no more than 4 rounds against Ward.
