Dominates 60, 70s and 80s without too much trouble. 90s would be the toughest especially if he faces the best at their best would still be a top 5 fighter but I can def see him losing a few along the way. But would probably still be considered the best of that era since I think even if he loses a few he adapts and overcomes in rematches.

That’s my first thought seeing Tua mentioned! Heck even Frazier gets boxed up in my opinion! Possibly even stopped late. But David would get thoroughly outboxed. I don’t envision a stoppage because David had a steel chin but Usyk comfortably stays away from the left hook and jabs his face up all night. Usyk would use his range and underrated jab in this one.

Yes, Usyk's movement is just a nightmare for someone like Tua who simply doesn't have the agility, stamina, and reach required to close in on Usyk. Frazier isn't sophisticated enough and would likely be stopped given that he would leave it all on the line and attack (something to be credited for in itself).

Guys whod beat him in each era. Doesn't include guys who've got a chance I'd favor Usyk over. No repeats.

60s-Ali, Liston, Patterson, Folley, Ingo Less Sure Machen

70s-Foreman, Norton, Frazier, Jimmy Young, Lyle Less Sure Bugner, Quarry.

80s-Holmes,Witherspoon, Tucker, Buster Douglas Less Sure Pinklon Thomas, Cooney.

90s-Lennox, Bowe, Moorer Less Sure Holyfield.

Tysons better than the 80s guy I put down I just don't trust him to gain the upper hand right away which he really needs.

Chisora is a plodder who isn't even world level and took rounds off Usyk. Not sure why the idea that Tua, who was a much better amateur and professional than Chisora, and had serious power in both hands, wouldn't have his success against Usyk.

Dominates the 70s? I love the man and envision him right in the those great series with Ali and Frazier. I think he has too much style advantage over George, and level advantage over Norton, Shavers, Lyle, Quarry, etc. .

Usyk hasn't done enough to compare him to entire heavyweight eras. He's fought 3 rated at heavyweight fighters, and most people know Fury (and Joshua, if you ever thought he was great) were badly exposed as not-so-greats before they took Usyk 12 rounds, twice each.

Let's take Fury as his best win, because Fury was undefeated. Fury beat Klitschko in 2015 and there was potential there but he disappeared. Pics of him 120 pounds over weight, drunk or coked up, suggested he was finished. Almost 3 years wasted. He came back and claimed "lineal" status. Ok, fine. He looked ordinary in tune ups then he drew with Deontay Wilder, (who up until that point hasn't fought anyone at all notable except maybe Luis Ortiz - and to this day hasn't beat anyone better than Ortiz). Beat Tom Schwarz. Struggled with unknown Otto Wallin. Then had a brilliant performance in February 2020, against Wilder, just before the COVID slowed everything down. His next fight was Wilder again, 20 months later, and it was clear then that Fury wasn't quite the same as he'd been last time, a tough gruelling fight. Then what? Dillian Whyte, (an okay win, knocked him out, but then so had a 40 year old Povetkin just two fights before). ... then 'retired' and announced a farewell fight with Chisora, an easy fight. He was absolutely savaged for fighting Chisora again, quite rightly. Then about 11 months later fights Ngannou, a UFC fighter, semi-retired, with 0-0 boxing record. I don't have to say any more about that.
That's Tyson Fury, over THE BEST PART OF A DECADE leading up to the Usyk fights.
And he actually ran Usyk quite close. I do respect Fury's boxing ability and Usyk's even more so. But, come on, we're looking at a guy (Fury) that's not got a great form or recent record going in against Usyk.

Fury in 2024 is actually not better than Holmes in 1988, and I'm not even a Mike Tyson fan.
Holmes was coming off 20 months off but at least he had not been decked and taken to a split decision by a 0-0 fighter.
Holmes would have schooled an old Chisora 18 months before he faced Mike Tyson, no problem. He would have schooled an old Chisora 4 years after as well.

To dominate any of those era he would have to fight 3, 4 or 5+ times a year for at least 6 years straight, and win almost every time.
If he's capable of doing that, what's stopping him from fighting Parker and Kabayel both before this year ends?
Why has he fought so few heavyweight contenders?

Name any other 38 year old heavyweights who were fighting 5+ times a year.

    He hasn't always been 38.
We can take a more active younger version from 2016-'18. Where's the evidence that the man who fought Briedis would dominate prime Ali, and Liston?

Being the best 38 year old heavyweight doesn't make you the best all time.
Jersey Joe Walcott was one of the best ever at 38 years old, I think better at that age than Ali was. But he doesn't rank high absolutely as an ATG.

He is now. So there you have your answer why he won't face Parker and Kabayel by the end of the year :p

    That's a fair point.
So there's no chance Usyk can ever demonstrate how he could dominate a good heavyweight division over an entire decade in a busy era.
If he'd done it in his own era that would be a starting point
