How well known is Khan in the States?

    He has fought a lot in America and likes to portray himself as a superstar over there. But we all know that Amir Khan thinks Amir Khan is the best. So just how well known is he in the USA? Is it just among the hardcore fans?

    There really aren't enough popular fighters out there to pick instead. Pacquiao needs more time to heal for the rematch and it's most likely going to be on HBO as Mayweather's 50th and last fight heavily promoted as an attempt to break Marciano's record. For now, Mayweather is picking anyone to finish off his SHOWTIME deal and Khan is his best option.

    He fought Peterson in Peterson's home town because he did disappointing numbers in Vegas as the A-side against Judah. That's why it was so hilarious to hear he and his team try to spin what he did as a matter of courage or some such rubbish. :patsch
