He aint in the last chance saloon cos the pool of fighters available to do super-fly is pretty small. Bit of a joke Broaadhurst is in when Najah Ali, who beat him easily, is only a replacement. His amateur experience gives him a good chance but Lyon and Robinson over 3rounds will out work him easily.

I think Robinson wins it on pure workrate. Hes relentless, limited, but he wont stop throwing. Bit like Wilie Casey when he won it

Good shout! Lyons is a good little fighter and should be perfect for the 3 round format, not stop punching and has a good engine.

A possible problem with that is getting knackered in the final. Casey could have easily have lost that final on point because of the effort he put in the previous 2 fights. That fight was only close because Casey was goosed and his opponent was fresher (came in as sub IIRC?).

I hope the **** gets sparked out in the first round after he cost me almost 2 grand on an accumulator on the mag 7 bill!

It's the best prizefighter line up ever IMO. can't wait for it.

    Steady on Vano!!

You're a respected journalist these days, you can't be saying things like that!

I can't see Broadhurst winning it, he's just not very good. Impressive results against poor opposition flattered him I feel.

He's fought two good fighters and lost twice, he'll have to beat three to win this.

Plus I'm not sure his style suits PF, a bit like Dilks it might be worth having a punt on his opponent in the first round.

Robinson would be my pick, but it's a pretty open field.

Would have liked to have seen Sexton and Power in there, perhaps Ali too, at the expense of Uzzy and a couple of others. He's got plenty of bottle and his ring entrances are top class but he's the complete opposite when it comes to boxing ability I'm afraid.

Vano-Journo 'Broadhurst aims to right the wrongs of recent years and reclaim the top spot in one of Britain's most underrated divisions. Wins over Lyons and Haskins could see him catapulted to the European stage'.

Vano-Irons 'Haskins gonna spark that fool' :bbb

They just want to fill a few minutes air time with that ring entrance and KO.

cannot see robinson winning this, far too basic for the likes of haskins, broadhurst isnt as good as he thinks he is, farrag beating luke robinson over 3x3's last year looks good for this kind of competeion but i would have to go for haskins, hes the best in europe, too awkward and hits too hard
