How well will Pacman handle fighting someone his own size?

I see that most of you don't have confidence in Pac since they will be about the same weight in the ring. Everyone wants to hold onto this nonsense about Oscar coming into the ring about 20 pounds heavier.... complete bull****. Anyone with this train of thought has absolutely no idea what cutting weight is about, and how fighters lose and gain weight directly before and after weigh ins. When you have a guy being videotaped by the media for months, and not once weighing over 151 pounds... and hovering between 145-148 for the last 3 weeks.... that fight doesn't gain 15-20 overnight. The MOST that Oscar would gain back, would be to about 151 pounds. Which is the absolute highest that he has been in the last month. You don't cut water weight for months. In order for Oscar to gain up to 160 or so... that would mean that he had to weigh 160 or so within the past couple days. It's bull****. Roach himself said two weeks ago that Manny was walking around heavier than Oscar was.

They will be entering the ring about the same weight. That is the only thing that matters... since both fighters are clearly in good shape. Now, if Pac was fat as hell, a different argument might work. Oscar appears to be bigger, but the scale doesn't lie. Taller, and broader up top, doesn't mean that Oscar is so much naturally bigger. It means that he is taller, and more broad. Is Paul Williams naturally bigger than David Tua? Pac has a deeper chest, thicker arms and legs, bigger head, ect... why does none of this count? Only height? It's silly.

Sign of defeat. You should learn to accept defeat more gracefully.

While WiDDoW and I have backed our arguments with facts, all you guys have done is throw insults when you have nothing else.

If Oscar and Pacquiao are the same size, or at least in your eyes, Pacquiao is bigger boned, then can you explain how Pacquiao's pro debut was at around 105? Even when he reached a mature age, he was still fighting at 110 pounds, 115 tops.

    "Manny has thicker legs." -Widdow

Those are facts? You're even worse than Widdow.

If they are not the same size, please explain why Manny weighed in at 147 against Diaz, and De La Hoya has been at 147 for atleast a month.

Come fight night, they will both between 147-150.

Can you expalin why RJJ fought at 119 in the ams, 160 in the pros, and won the HW title?

Because people grow, and after they grow, they can continue to grow muscle, making them bigger.

    It's really that simple.

DLH also weighed the same as Hopkins when they fought  :nut

That doesn't make Roy a bigger man then "Mike Tyson" because they weighed around the same on fight night. Roy can weigh in as a heavyweight, but naturally he ain't, win, loose or draw. This isn't about disputing whether or not Pac can win, but the argument that Widdow is trying to make about Pac being naturally the same size.
