It is true that Pac's wrists are possibly bigger, but there's no question that DLH's upper body is bigger, including them bones.

Tell me, would DLH ever be able to do 122-130 today? Would Pac? there's your answer.

This is a pretty lame thread, trying to back up an excuse if DLH gets owned.

Considering that Manny said that it killed him to cut to 135 the last time, and that he didn't want to go back down there... I doubt that he gets to 122-130. Honestly... Pac weighed in on fight night at 147 pounds when he fought at 135. Just because he is willing to kill himself by losing tons of water weight prior to fights, doesn't mean that he is naturally smaller. Oscar just weighed in at 145 without cutting water weight. He has been around that weight for weeks, and it is well documented, and on film.

People seem to forget that 147 was the 4th weight class that Oscar moved was in. Oscar has NEVER been a big welter, and was always a small Jr. Middle. He is tall, he could carry the weight, but he was never in top shape, or top form at 154. His skills got him by, but he clearly didn't have to train hard to make weight. When Oscar weighed 160 against Sturm, everyone could see how pathetic, and chubby his body was at that weight. He didn't even take his shirt off at the weigh ins when he came in at 160. Oscar is clearly in great shape, and he showed this by overshooting the 147 mark by two pounds. Oscar is even talking about dropping back down to 140 for his next fight, and obviously that isn't a stretch.

I will admit that Oscar is a slightly bigger guy naturally... and that I do **** like this to completely wind up the haters. However, the size difference isn't anything close to what is being played out on this site. Come fight night, they will both be comfortable with their weights, and will at the max, be seperated by about 3-5 pounds. Manny will probably come in weighing about 147-149. Oscar will probably come in around 149-151. Oscar never puts on mass amounts of weight overnight.

Oscar isn't that much bigger naturally. What he does have as far as size goes... is that he has much more experience fighting at that weight and against others that size. This is only because he chose not to kill himself and cut down to those very low weight classes anymore... not because he is just so much bigger. Manny on the other hand, started boxing pro very young... started very light... and has gained weight as his body matured, just like Oscar did. Manny is now very comfortable fighting when weighing around the Welterweight limit as he proved in his last fight when he weighed 147. So, my question stands as... how will Manny be able to handle fighting another person who is weighing what he will be weighing. Manny proved that he can perform while he weighs that much... and perform at his peak. However... how will he do when his opponent isn't a lightweight... and weighs what he weighs.

Why the hell would I need an excuse for Oscar? The man is less than 2 months away from turning 36 years old. He has been highly inactive. Only having 4 fights in the last 51 months. Two fights ago he tore both his rotator cuff, and a muscle in his forearm. He dropped down and weighed in at a weight that his old body hasn't tried to make for over a decade. He is going up against the #1 pd 4 pd fighter in the world who is at his absolute peak right now. Oscar was #1 pd for pd OVER A DECADE AGO.

What the hell does Oscar need excuses for? Why do you think that many experts are picking Pac to win this fight?

It's absurd that you say many experts are picking Pac, when it's the exact other way. It's not DLH going up against the P4P fighter, it's the P4P going up against DLH at DLH's terms. If DLH manage to lose this fight, you know what, his career will take a huge hit.. he would've lost the vast majority of his super fights, which puts a big ugly dent on his career.

I love it how DLH tried to paint a picture of Pacquiao being the one picking on him and whatnot, when it is Manny who has to move up not one, but two weight classes from his only 135lbs fight.

DLH is the favorite, and rightly so.. because on paper this fight is a complete mismatch, unless DLH is shellshocked by Pacquiaos speed and gets a rough tumbling first couple of rounds lost, it's gonna be a clear victory for him.

DLH will probably put himself in the top5 P4P lists after beating a much smaller man, if he lose we all know Calderon is on the horizone.

Just looking at the weigh in, Pacquiao is MUCH smaller from the side.

The way size is measured is by MASS, not height.

DLH is bigger, his upper body is wider.

There's no doubt he is the bigger man.

Perhaps slightly bigger, but Pac's legs, fore arms and head is bigger.

DLH had a bigger waist than Hopkins, bigger shoulders than Trinidad and was taller than Vargas....Was he bigger than them too?

A year ago had this fight been mentioned you would have been laughing your ass off claiming DLH KO 1. Give it a rest.

People are picking Oscar to win, because he is a better fighter... not because of his size.

exactly Oscar is the naturally bigger then Pac any man with 2 eyes can see that, which is why pac kept his shoes as to hide the big difference in hight and reach. even with Pac wearing high soles shoe you can see Oscar's arm are so much longer.
