On this we are 100 percent in agreement, and this is exactly why I cannot stand MMA. When the "action" hits the ground, it's nap time. Seriously, I'd rather watch paint dry that watch a couple of people - male or female - roll around on the ground. It's not entertaining - or interesting - in the least. When these MMA fighters stand up and throw punches, it can be entertaining, if crude in comparison with boxing.
