Since Wilder says he's the best heavyweight in the world, how would he do against Wladimir's resume?

He would get in the ring with the likes of...
    Chris Byrd
    Alexander Povetkin
    Tyson Fury
    Samuel Peter
    Kubrat Pulev
    Bryant Jennings
    Hasim Rahmam
    prime Eddie Chambers
    Ruslan Chagaev
    Sultan Ibrahimov
    Corrie Sanders
    Lamon Brewster
    Ray Mercer

All opponents who would probably crush Wilder's best opponent Stiverne.

So...a walk in the park for Wilder, the best heavyweight in the world?

Beats probably unmotivated Rahman and Chagaev, but if they come in shape then gets KO'd. Gets outboxed by Byrd and Jennings. Rest of the group brutally KTFOs this fraud.

I think you are looking too far up the list.

I reckon Wilder does well until fight #25 where he meets a guy that he can't knock out and who can knock him out. Since Wilder's boxing ability seems to go backwards each fight, count on The Boss doing the same to Wilder that he did to Wlad, only this time sooner in the fight.

    Wilder loses by KO.

After this beating Wilder develops an irrational fear of big black men with muscles and has a hard time shaving without nicking himself. As a result he becomes prone to cuts and his career unravels.*

    Wilder KO's Jennings
Pulev poses a threat but he would get KO'd
Prime Fast Eddie gets KO'd he doesn't have the fire power.
Wilder KO's Wach and the simoan "Bin man"

Wilder does have a problem with
Haye, Fury, Povetkin, South African southpaw golfer (sorry forgot his name)

Wilder is a very tough opponent who is slightly underrated, I understand his criticism though.

Wilder Povetkin was a 50/50 fight and that's a testament how talented both are. Wilder stylistic should win though but Povekin was a beast.

I don't think I even bother to answer the question. Wilder's best opponent to date is Stiverne.
Stiverne probably would not even beat 2/3 of those name.
To top that Wlad is schedule to fight Joshua next. I do not think Wlad dominated a weak era at all. Without Wlad that era will be considered healthy and strong.
This would be like comparing Hagler to Saunders, even that it would be a disrespect to Saunders.

Half the guys on Wlad's list after #25 either beat Wilder or give him fits.

Wilder is a running joke ...

Can't see him doing very well, honestly.

Chris Byrd - Byrd specialised in making big clumsy heavyweights his bitch. Wilder would be made to flail at air for twelve rounds and lose a lopsided decision. If anyone doubts this, look at the problems Szpilka gave him with only a modicum of the skills Byrd possessed.

Alexander Povetkin - The Povetkin Wlad fought wasn't as impressive as the one we have now, so I wouldn't want to bet on this one. It's possible Wilder could have a chance here.

    Tyson Fury - ha!

Samuel Peter - Wilder beats the second version of Peter in a similar way to Stiverne, boxing off the back foot, lots of sharp one twos. First iteration would be a much harder task. Nonetheless, Wilder proved he could box intelligently against shorter cruder fighters so I'd give him a good chance there too.

Kubrat Pulev - I'm not high on Pulev and it wouldn't surprise me if Wilder caught him and knocked him out. Wouldn't surprise me if Pulev outboxed him either. Washington gave him hell with a rudimentary jabbing game, and the energised Pulev that beat Thompson, Dimitrenko and Ustinov is a level or two above.

Bryant Jennings - This would be a very competitive fight and I've always thought that. Jennings lacks power, but he has a massive heart and buckets of confidence. I think this one goes down to the wire.

Hasim Rahman - Wilder knocks him out. Rahman was old and broken down by that point.

prime Eddie Chambers - Tricky one. Chambers always fought too passively so Wilder could win on workrate alone. He also had a habit of just standing in one place and blocking punches on the gloves which worked against smaller and lesser hitting fighters but might prove problematic against a guy like Wilder who could punch through his guard and use his height and reach to prevent him countering.

Ruslan Chagaev - I think Ruslan outpoints him. Too well schooled and physically robust.

    Sultan Ibrahimov - see above.
