tough fight but he beats him barely. Floyd had better defense against the right hand than Shane did. Shane liked to fight inside more and he was in range. Floyd would have been aware of that right hand.

Forrest would have won on points, just too rangy, sharp with his outside boxing, and strong for Floyd.

Floyd after the "vacation" looked huge man. Didn't look like a lightweight or even Jr Welter anymore he looked like a small welter while Marquez looked like a bloated featherweight. I'm not taking away from Floyd's resume its good, but its far from great. Its the reason that it makes him look h2h even better. I know what I'm telling you he won a close, but clear fight against Oscar a prime Oscar would of drawn or even outpointed Floyd. The 2002 version that won 7-5 rounds vs Mosley in the rematch and got robbed beats any version of Floyd. Floyd has trouble with good jabbers he's hardly fought any and when he did they were past it. The most skilled fighters didn't lose to other higher skilled fighters Castillo-Mayweather I and Honeyghan-Curry are just 2 examples where the better skilled fighter gets beat. I agree Floyd might of been more skilled than the 90's bunch, but that doesn't mean he's better there's alot of confusion on that.

Forrest jab would be a problem for Mayweather. Forrest had a special jab, before he blew his arm out. Even after all those surgeries later, it still wasn't what it used to be, although it was pretty good against Mora.

The Forrest that Mosely fought would have **** on the version of De La Hoya that Mayweather fought.

In fact, I think Forrest beats Mayweather at least 8 out of 10 times.

He would have been a nightmare for Floyd, imo.

Prime `Viper` could give {BF some major problems. Now, it might be that PBF figures him out and carefully outboxes him. However, Forrest had that nasty jab of his that gave Mosely hell. This is a pcik-em fight. Prime Forrest, very underrated. Prob for Floyd would be he couldn`t hurt Forrest os Forrest would fight aggressive behind his jab...

I don't see this. Mosley and Mayweather are different fighters. Floyd would have used his right hand and jab more against Forrest. I think the reason people think Floyd would lose to Forrest is because of how Mosley did with Vernon. But Floyd is slicker than Mosley was. Mosley is a fast fighter who liked to fight on the inside and was in range of fighters, yet he was so fast he usually got off before they got off their punches. But Floyd would not stand in front of Forrest. Yet to be honest, I don't think Floyd would fight Vernon. That is too tough a fight for him to take, even though I think he would win if they fought. I think Floyd would have beaten Pacman, but he just doesn't want a fight where he could lose. Mike Tyson always said he wants a situation where he can be humiliated and can lose so it motivates him. Floyd doesn't seem to be like Mike. He likes to think he has the advantage so he gets motivated in that way.

If he is a welter weight fighting at lw, then why didnt he make weight for JMM. Its hard to say how good Floyd really is with his resume. I mean, how much better would Tito, ODH, Mosley, etc would have looked if they took on Floyds resume at the time Floyd fought them?
