He was coming off two ko wins. Just because they were not names you recognise means sheit, 90% of Ortiz's resume is vs nobodies.

knocked out a prime Oquendo who is fighting for a strap next month. Something only prime Tua did to Oquendo and he took 9 rounds. Which underlines to me Ruiz's one bad career loss vs same Tua wasn't something he should be judged on too harshly. A very solid career.

Tubbs could pose a problem like he did for Bowe may be able to out point Ortiz. Biggs I think would be a good challenge as well but I think Ortiz would stop him. Coetzer I think Ortiz beats similar to how he beat Jennings. Holyfield I don't think Ortiz could beat him from the first fight. I think he'd give Holyfield a very hard fight and likely hurt Holyfield but I'd pick the real deal to pull it out in the end likely by a decision maybe even late stoppage. Holyfield from the second fight with Bowe I think would beat Ortiz as well but the third fight version of Holyfield I thinK Ortiz would have a good shot of beating. Donald would make it a boring fight and I think Ortiz would win the decision. Hide could possibly stop Ortiz but unlikely in fact I think Ortiz would take less damage then Bowe against him and take him out after the early rounds. Golota vs Ortiz would be a close fight I'd probably favor Ortiz because of Golota's short comings mentally.

Truly I believe Luis Ortiz has the skills and punching power to contend in any era. I think he'd be a very tough fight for Riddick Bowe himself even in his prime as he was more technically sound and Bowe wasn't a hard guy to hit.

Something about Tubbs...he got stopped in one round by Lionel Butler within a year of losing to Bowe and got stopped by a journeyman named Jimmy Ellis in a round during the next year. I think the Bowe fight may have had something to do with Bowe being inexperienced and uninterested.

its only become "complete nonsense" at the exact moment you couldnt answer it. Thats your usual stance in these circumstances, you should recognise your own failings by now.
