Its hard enough at that level having no serious injury but when you have a torn rotator that **** is crazy The only reason why Pac didn't postpone the fight was because he didn't want to let down the fans and he was under the impression the commission would give him the shot. Pacquiao received a cortisone shot to help the injury during training Usada was aware during camp. Pacquiao never tried to delay the fight in the days and weeks before because he thought he could get the injection on fight night
Yes, the boxing commission lied to him. Void got his pain shots.....................If Void had had a shoulder injury like that he would have lost, but he would have never fought in that condition in the first place......................again, Bob Bennett and his criminal boxing commission!
A lot of athletes, especially those in their 30's have tears in their RC from chronic overuse. Unless its a complete rupture, most doctors will recommend physical theraphy and other conservative treatments which often produce better results than surgery. According to Arum, Pac had the injury since the DLH fight and it never bothered him until he got into the ring with the Master Floyd, suddenly its an excuse. Why was Pac still throwing and missing wild right hooks all night if his shoulder was hurting so bad??
Pac at that stage was at approx 65% of his prime anyway. He had recently been knocked out cold by a seemingly physically drug-enhanced Marquez, the same Marquez whom Floyd had easily dispatched. So for me the fight had lost its luster since the drama had been reduced considerably and Floyd's cunningly opportunistic approach was more than obvious. BTW I agree that Floyd would have never entered a fight with an injured shoulder. However if he had, I have absolutely no logical reason to conclude that he lacked the ability to do what Pac did.
the name actually does not sound like something you would usually go for alt wise, but your hardly hiding who you are arent ya sweetheart
Would he rob his fans by showing up to a fight he didn't think he could win due to a debilitating injury? If Mayweather got lucky due to getting to face an injured Pac - I don't buy this for a second btw, no post fight mention and saltwater cures - then your little hero, the saviour built up to dethrone your personally annoited bad guy is a lying POS who stole his purse that uneventful night.
Would Pac's shoulder still be injured, that would be weird, two guys fighting with bad shoulders? I guess the winner is the guy who gets the shot.
Floyd would have never entered the ring with that kind of injury. He needs all the decks stacked in his favor.
