What do you mean "he possibly the most dangerous puncher ever" ? At what weight classes?

His applicator of power was on the same playing field as Primo Carnera.

What I mean is that despite the fact he started boxing as a lightweight, he was capable of scoring one-shot knockout punches of cruiserweight sized fighters of elite, proven durability.

Now, if you have some astonishing technical insight that proves he can't deliver his power properly, despite the fact that he score knockouts over fighters who can't generally be knocked out by other, bigger men, let me disabuse you of any notion that I have even the slightest interest in reading it.

    No.

Do you think that means it didn't happen or something?

To be honest dinovelvet, this is becoming an incredible waste of my time. This is all stuff that's been discussed before on the forum, in great detail. You haven't absorbed it, or you ignore it. Furthermore you are speaking form authority about a fighter but you're seriously asking me who his best knockouts are at the heavier weight. This is very, very basic stuff.

The first of Langford's two most impressive knockout are his one shot KO of Harry Wills in the nineteenth round. This is from 1916. Between 1913 and 1926 he was the only man to stop Wills with punches and the only man to stop him with punches in his prime.

The second would be his seventh round KO of Joe Jeanette. Joe was stopped twice in his career, in over hundred contests, many of them against heavy punchers. The first was in his first year as a pro. The second was against Sam. Sam is the only man to have stopped him in his prime. Jeanette famously won the 49 round contest he staged with the era's number two puncher, Sam McVey.

We don't have one punch KOs of Langford in footage, but we do have him flooring Jeannette, Lang and Flynn with single punches. Anybody, who questions Langford's power, are either too lazy to make effort and watch available footage or don't understand what they look at.

Likely a world champion at 154 up to 175, with an outside chance at a cruiserweight title as well.

I never fought I'd see the day where classic fighters are underrated on a classic forum.

The stance is perfect head not over the ffront foot , but rear foot forcing you to reach with your jab . (the charley burley video addresses this) The hand position is perfect (it is what allows Langford to fire power shots in the cflinch) and the jab comes from UNDERNEATH making it harder to see . Sam used a nice stiff jab(watch the footage) and his opponents jabbed at him constantly if you watched the footage you would see this if you watch what happens when they jabbed at Sam you would see why you are not gonna stiff jab him to death.Sam fought boxers who did those things and Sam did those things .Sam floors his opponent in all 3 films of him with pinpoint punching , Sam constantly turned Jim flynn with punches from all kinds of angles . Bruh you dont know what you are talking about and never watched the ****ing footage .this is as lazy as it gets.Your argument which I had a hunch you were gonna say boils down to , me no like him he has his hands down and doesnt look visually appealing.

    He'd beat almost everyone around.
Tall guys like Fury, Wilder and Joshua would be a nightmare for him though.

hands were lower to protect the body too but the face was very very well protected , they raised the rear arm to catch hooks and jabs and fought at an angle where the right hand wasnt feasible , they didnt stand in front of their opponent square like a Canelo for instance.Boxers back then stood to their opponents left , this means you had to reach with that right to hit them and if you made a mistake you ate a right.
