He’s taller than all the best UFC fighters, but obviously has no ground game.

In a UFC fight, would he lose to all the top heavyweights? Could he beat the middleweights?

Didn't I see some clips somewhere of him training UFC? He might have at least the ability to defend grapplers, if not be one.

    Don't know though.

this should be a question for the MMA forum, but your new so just letting you know.

Fury would be killed at heavyweight but would probably trounce some middleweights from shear size, strength, reach and striking ability.

Unless he could develope a ground game fast or some take down defence and low/mid/high kick block skill - not very well. I hate MMA/wrestling/Jui jujitsu and have boxed for well over 20 years, but trust me, if you cannot do those things it will be exploited faster than you could compute.

This is a lot like how much does an orange taste like an apple.
There are similarities but it's a lot different.
Fury is a boxer. He isn't going to do well squirming in the missionary position.
Wilder might do better in MMA because all he needs is one right and MMA people
    generally have sloppy defense.

It's strange. If they didn't know he was a boxer, just an obscure MMA fighter from Gypostan, he would probably KO all the HWs on the feet with his massive reach, hand speed, accuracy. The reason is that even the guys with a wrestling base tend to strike and often barely use their wrestling/grappling.

But since they know he has no wrestling/grappling, obviously they go for the weakness and try to take him down. I still think he could defend takedowns enough to win some of these matches by KO. He's a huge a guy. And he would have remarkable advantages in striking. People talk about leg kicks and so on, but this is not what finishes fights in MMA, it's still head shots. And because of Fury's reach he could probably nail people in the head even if they're at leg kick range.

HW is pretty bad. With a bit of cross training her probably beat a good chunk of guys. Still hed get destroyed by the top guys especially the ones with grappling prowess.
