He says hes going till 50...somehow i doubt that. but you would be a foolish man to bet against him.

How do you think it WILL come to an end?

    1. Go the rest of his career unbeaten and retire on his own terms on top
    2. Keep winning, but lose his last/second last fight, a super fight to a young fresh opponent, i.e. SS winner
    3. Lose 1/2 more fights, but keep picking up titles while adding more quality wins
    4. Lose a lot of fights and retire coz hes just not good enough anymore. Gets dominated by younger fighters
    5. Get brutally knocked out and retire as a result
    6. Retire coz of injury/something unrelated to boxing

    Lets POLL it gents

He'll probably fight Dawson and drop a decision, then think about boxing for a year and come back to beat some fringe beltholder and claim another title, then go out on a high note.

But I wouldn't really bank on it, Hopkins is a G.

I voted for brutal KO. I did this only because he has looked a bit wobbly on his legs at times after taking a good shot. I know that he is a defensive master and has looked great recently, but it is only a matter of time.......

This is also coming from someone who holds an ongoing oath to never to bet against him again

I dont know how much longer he can last, but age will catch upto him sooner rather than later, its over due as it is, he can last to 50 if he sticks at light heavyweight and just defends his title against mandatories (and cherry picks them like how Felix Sturm does for example) for the rest of his career but if he chases the top stars he will eventually take a big loss. Whether its a shut out loss or a knockout or whatever he will look bad against a young guy eventually whether its his next fight or in a few more years, he cant dodge father time forever and 50 is surely pushing it.

But as long as he is going I will cheer him on, I just wish RJJ would retire because old age has already whooped his ass.

In a casket. After winning a decision @ 79 years old.

But seriously I think Hop will eventually venture up to CW (maybe in 2 years) and win a decision before going out on a winning note at the least.

I wouldn't be suprised if we don't see Hopkins lose again.

dont agree with any options I think he loses in the first defense unless he fights an absolute cupcake then retires or loses another and retires

most of these options require several fights which would take a few more years he is 46 years old

he looked easy to hit and easy to hurt vs Pascal but Pascal took few risks and gassed

a fresh fighter would leap on on him if he had him hurt

Bernard kicks chuck norris AZZ because Bernard don't get beat by white boys. Bernard doesn't ever need to retire.

    Bernard still a G.

Most people acknowledge he could have retired after the Pavlik fight on an incredible high note. Now he continues to move the goal post foward, not to long ago he said he wouldn't fight past 40. In all honesty I see him attempting to be a titlest at the age of 50.

Yea in reference to the poll, 1 or 2 most likely.
