Mayweathers attitude to the zero is ****ed up. I heard a radio interview with him once and he just couldn't see why people would rate Ali, Robinson, Leonard over him because they had losses. He just doesn't get the quality of opposition point when assessing a boxers career.

Maybe Manny will put in yet another far more impressive display against a common opponent?

I don't agree he's ATG for skill because I measure the quality of skillset when it is succesfully deployed against great opponents.

What was your scorecard for the fight? Ignoring Mayweather having an injury to his left shoulder which Merchant pointed out after the 1st round, I still had him winning a close decision.

    Rd 1 - 10-9
    Rd 2 - 10-9
    Rd 3 - 10-9
    Rd 4 - 10-9
    Rd 5 - 10-9
    Rd 6 - 9-10
    Rd 7 - 9-10
    Rd 8 - 10-8
    Rd 9 - 9-10
    Rd 10 - 9-9
    Rd 11 - 9-10
    Rd 12 - 9-10

    Mayweather 114 - 112 Castillo

Well anyone I consider amongst the top 100 fighters has an element of greatness. Floyd gets it for being pure class, but I would t say his skillset is amongst the greats. He has been consistent against some quality fighters though, and competed in two 'classic' weights, beating a top 20-30 in one (Castillo) and some very good fighters at Welter (Mosley was hardly say, Carlos Ortiz when Buchanan beat him, he still had a bit left, it's not an awful win by any means)

But amongst the top, top skillsets? No. There are fighters I rank below him that have more proven skillsets but not the depth. They have one or two 'great' wins but sometimes a series of decent/good wins can surpass that (again, always down to circumstance)

    For example, Ernesto Marcel :good

A coward who had all the talent to be the best but was to scared to test it. If he and pac ever met up i honestly believe pac hands him a terrible beating.

best fighter of last 10 years i pac, before that it was jones, mayweather and b-hop were close seconds to these.

top 30 all timer i think.

    5 division champ.

unbeaten 14 yrs into his career.

    terrific skills.

just needs pac to put the cherry on top.

    and perhaps the middleweight title.

frustratingly more interested in semi retirement and hanging around with his rap buddies.
