Well if there wasn't drug test for Charlo then it was the same for Williams, I just don't think J-rock could handle his power, it was all over as soon he was dropped by the jab but he is a very good fighter nonetheless and I expect him to pick up a belt at some point. Yeah if he can handle the 154 division then the 160 division is weaker imo.
Still don't know yet until he fights someone in the top 15 there. He looks to have the goods but is an unknown at 160.
He looks good against inexperienced guys, but guys at 160 are more experienced and tougher dudes. He is moving to tougher division. He should stay away Golovkin for the time being plus avoid all the powerhouses like DL, Jacobs and Stevens. Risk getting ruined is too big. Rest are good opportunities - Saunders, Lee and Eubank Jr. Are all good victories. After all he's already a beltholder at 154, so no point to regress now.
I dont know, he hasnt made his debut at MW yet. Im going to assume he will look tremendous because Charlo is indeed a Tremendous fighter. That KO of Williams was Sick. I respect the Charlo brothers.
I wanna see Charlo vs Khurtsidze badly. Eubank Jr is just a disappointment, he's not looking to fight any big names and he's making that clear to see .
Jermall was a big Jr. MW, and he's going to be a big MW. His frame looks like it can not only make MW, but SMW easily. His power will likely be even better at MW. They're going to start him off a MW slowly, but not too slow. I can see them starting him off with a top 15 contender like Smith, N'Dam or Rose and then moving up the top 10 ladder.
Have an easier fight first and then if he wants a contender put him in with Derevyanchenko. Should be a great fight and we'll see who's ready for bigger and better things. They're both signed to Al Haymon so this will very easy to make.
They will have him go up the ranks slowly to time his peak with Golovkin's retirement. They definitely don't want him fighting GGG and I doubt he believes he can take on GGG. He will be fighting top 15s for a while to stay under the radar while the king of MW division is still ruling with an iron fist.
His first fight is probably going to be outside top 10. He needs to go through a camp and adjust to the weight and new training methods that go along with the new weight before he steps up big. A poor camp can be a huge deciding factor at the top level. I personally dislike the idea of any fighter jumping straight up and fighting the best in the division for that reason.
I would currently favor him over everyone not named GGG. The middleweight division isn't impressive at all.
After Charlo gets 2-3 MW wins under his belt Golovkin will be ducking him just like Lil g ducks everyone else. The fight will come up and Golovkin will immediately book Golovkin-Khan.
