Honestly if this fight is one sided on both ends I wouldn't be suprised. But I do feel Floyd will win, because people forget Floyd is a good body puncher his self

I don't believe Floyd will be able to neutralize Cotto's jab like he did DLH's, if he did at all.. Another thing he brings with that jab, is pressure.. DLH didn't pressure Floyd all that much.. Cotto has better footwork than DLH as well.. Floyd may have won have not been hurt by the likes of Judah or Corley, and Cotto was, but Cotto was willing to take and trade shots, and thus resulting in Cotto KO'ing his opponents.. Cotto will be willing to take shots from Floyd, but Cotto's workrate will overwhelm him at times causing him to go into his defensive shell.. He may get in some counter punches, but Cotto will also deliver body/head combinations and Cotto is not the type of fighter to back down.. I knew Cotto could be a possible threat after the Judah fight and definitely after the Mosley fight.. The Gomez fight was a sparring session and who cares if he got tagged once by Gomez? Did it do anything? No. Only reason he got tagged was because he got too comfortable and knew he had the fight in the bag..

The biggest problem that Floyd will cause to Cotto will be his lateral movement. Thats the biggest factor. If Floyd doesn't utilize it he will be in for a long ass fight, I don't care what he does that is his biggest asset in fighting Cotto. You can't shoulder roll Cotto he is extremely measured with his punches. DLH was extremely wide with his shots against Floyd and when he threw them they were brainless flurries not worrying about actually landing them but more concerned about impressing the judges. Hatton tried to land clean shots but he was totally out powered with all the clinching hugging and **** and he couldn't even get leverage into his shots because that fight filled with way to much roughhouse tactics on the inside.

The punches that get Floyd are the sharp clean shots that are right down the middle, consistent jabs, and untelegraphed punches. Cotto hardly telegraphs his shots, his jab is phenomenal, he is extremely accurate, has amazing balance on his feet, and is one of the best in boxing at cutting off the ring.

Floyd is going to have to fight his ass off in this fight!

This part I have to disagree with, I think if he gets you where he want you, he will let his hand go , not saying he will do that to cotto , but if cotto's slips I think floyd will lets his hand go with a furry .

with the bigger stronger 147 pounder it take floyd the better part of 7 to 8 round to get the bigger fighter where he needs them to be before he considers letting his hands go the way he did at 130 135 and 140.

Cotto needs to worry about Margo because I don't want him to be like Witter. But I know Cotto is a smarter fighter than that

Cotto will be thrown off balance by Floyd all night long. Cotto's defense, or as I should say, lack of defense will have him constantly getting pasted by single shots by Floyd all night long. I wouldn't be surprised with Cotto being stoped on cuts inside his mouth.

A leopard never changes his spots ... Cotto has shown that he has no defense for the right hand ... not matter who threw it at him ... he got rocked off a right hand by Torres, Malignaggi landed right hands, Gomez, Mosley, Urkal, and N'dou ... its in his history to eat right hands and no one throws them better in the game today than the PB !!

Cotto won't be able to land anything effective ... if he did PBF would make the proper adjustments and then take over the fight thats the difference between the contender and the champion, a great fighter v a good fighter, a very skilled guy against an average guy ... I can say this outside of all this boxing talk ... Cotto better come in that fight in great shape because we all know what happens when you get tired against PBF ... he better have a good cut man because he's cut prone ... and we all know what happens to PBF opponents who are cut prone ...

Cotto better not show hurt ... because we all know what happens to opponenets who show hurt against PBF ...

Don't think that Cotto's weaknesses won't be exposed during that fight ...

Everyone's talking about Cotto doing this and that ... do you guys believe that PBF won't do anything back? ... he hasn't been a champion for 10 yrs for nothing ... he hasn't been a 5 division champion for nothing ... and he hasn't taken 3 linear titles and beat 4 lineal champions for nothing -

He isn't the best fighter of this era for nothing --

Exactly people always post on what Cotto will be doing but never think Floyd will have something planned.

The haters are out there ... they don't want to see PBF on top ... it happens to all the best ... its just all of a sudden Roy is getting the respect he deserves and it took him to get knocked out twice to get it.

No one wants to see this guy on top and just like Floyd said after the Oscar fight "no matter what they do - they can't beat me man"

Naseem Hamed a future hall of famer said that Floyd is going to go down as the greatest boxer ever to put on a pair of gloves ... the reason why people don't like him is because of his attitude.

Malignaggi a world champion said the same thing ...

Oscar, Hopkins, Hatton, after the Hatton fight said that he's the best fighter of this era ...

Can't see someone going down as the best when they don't fight the best.. It's not that I don't want to see Floyd on top, it's because some of ya'll act like he's ****ing immortal.. I can give two shits about his attitude, he just need's to get in the ring and fight.. And it's not that we act as if Floyd won't have a plan of his own in the fight, it's just that ya'll act like Cotto has 0% chance against him..

No one fights the best ... go back to whoever you think is the best fighter ever and they haven't came close to fighting the best every fight.
