Ok, I think we all know that Floyd is leaning to not fighting Pacman as he said today "he has nothing to gain in this fight, Pacman has been knocked out twice so it is nothing anybody will get excited about" So if Floyd takes on Amir Khan, Ricky Hatton or Antonio Barerra, how will this hurt his legacy? I guess he could fight Cotto now as that is a usual Floyd move.:yep
I have a theory that Mayweather is praying Mosley looks shot against Berto but still edges a win, thus still technically being the No. 1 welterweight, but in looking like ****, clearly not being a huge threat to Floyd. Then Floyd will fight Mosley and justify it by saying that Mosley was technically the number one welterweight at the time. I could be talking out of my ass, but it is the savvy business maneuver Floyd might pull. Here's hoping Mosley looks like a monster, and Floyd will still to be trapped between Shane and Manny. Either fight one or the other or drop all pretense and flaunt his vagina for world to see.
Pac did not call out floyd after the cotto fight. floyd talks like he does not not need pac. both fighters are trying to gain leverage at the negotiation table. pac is not afraid of floyd and floyd is definitely not afraid of pac because its a relative easy fight for him.
I agree, it will be an easy fight for him because he won't be running after the 2nd round, he will be resting on his back and wont be breaking a sweat
Floyd ain't ducking manny for **** dude. Its a fight the people want to see. Its probably not a fight that Pacquiao should take because the style is bad. Manny appears to be a fully matured great fighter. His poise and confidence is higher then ever. He should do well but I to be honest the only thing Floyd has to do is train for the highest paced fight of his life and he'll have it. Cause intensity and power is the only thing that Manny brings that should worry Floyd.
Thats funny. But the reality is mayweather's defense will be key. Defense height and reach advantage then throw in the fact that he is just as quick with hand and foot and not to mention his overall boxing ability is a notch above pac's. Pac's holds no advantages in this fight. Money wont trade with pac but he will make him miss and make him pay.
It takes two to make the fight. (well actually like 10 with all the management involved), and yeah, I would love to see it, but if it doesn't happen, *******s will be all over accusing the non-title holder of ducking the champ. The only way I would be truly annoyed and believe he did avoid (not duck) Pac is if Floyd comes out and announces some bs fight this week.
In a turn of poetic justice, after Shane Mosley demolishes Berto, Manny Pacquiao turns around, snubs Mayweather and guns down SSM, the #1 ranked WW.
