I respect Floyd's demand not to put the WBO belt on the line. It's up to him. Team PAC agreed to it so no big deal.

Actually I think it's not the sanctioning fee is the concern for Floyd if they're fighting for the WBO welter title since if it's the case, Floyd will be introduce first as the challenger and Pacquiao will get top billing as the champion. So smart ass Floyd demanded that WBO title should not be at stake to maintain his perceived top billing.:D

He didn't care for DLH so he won't care much here either and DLH accomplished more in different visions than Pac did back then. Mayweather has his share of belts in different divisions so there's nothing to be intimidated or ashamed of here, when the bell rings all that goes out the window.

You got a point there Scar but once Buffer utter the words "Fighter of the Decade" (and "Pound for Pound number one"), I think it will affect Floyd. I've read many articles about Floyd vehemently protesting why Pacquiao got that FOTD award.

Just because someone is a champion, doesn't mean they are legally bound to come out second.

Normally champs come out last and introduced last but if both parties has an agreement about this beforehand then no big deal. I think Team PAC agreed to Floyd's demands that he will get top billing, will walk last and be introduced last. Team PAC agreed to all of these primadonna demands just to make the fight.:D

And Floyd agree to a never heard of demand of 10 million per pound over a weight limit he's never missed and easily made his last fight.

Floyd a proven scale/weight cheater... He paid a penalty before coz he cheated.

And another primadonna demand, Floyd demanded the fight be billed as "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao"

It sounds smoother and better with Mayweather first, I think most would agree to that.

If that's a primadonna demand then every fighter is a primadonna.

Normally the champ, the one with title will get top billing. Normally the number 1 guy will get top billing.

Who's the champ, the one with title and the number 1 guy of the two right now?

Well, Pac holds the WBO belt, while Mayweather is ranked number 1 in the division.

Mayweather would have the WBA belt if he wanted to pay 3% of his purse which would of been 675,000$.

Anyway Team PAC agreed to these Floyd's primadonna demands just to make this fight. That's what matters most.:D
