Not trolling. Floyd will probabily win, but if he loses how will he react?

We know how manny will react.. He went on to tap Tim after losing to him even though many including him believed that he won.

How will Floyd react? Like manny? Cry foul? ask re-match? run away without giving out interview? possible KO and could not given an interview because of the KO trama? others?

Imagine a UD in favour of Manny (lol, contradicting my poll, dont mock now). No robbory. I just want to know what you all think about how he would react to a genuine loss.

If it's a legitimate loss (Non robbery), he'll probably be very depressed

If it's a robbery, you can bet your bottom dollar he will be laughing his way to the bank, never giving Pac a rematch. You can book it. He will pull a Hagler.

I think it would depend on how he lost.

He will probably ask for a rematch.

The Mayweathers are a classy bunch. I'm sure they'll take it well.

Whilst I agree that a legitimate loss could send Floyd into a depressive tailspin, I wonder how clear cut such a defeat would have to be for the self-proclaimed TBE to accept it? The man's colossal ego may simply not allow him to accept that he was beaten, regardless of the score cards. In which case he would probably praise Manny and deride the judges for their obvious incompetence.

My guess is that only a ko defeat like the one Manny suffered at the hands of JMM, or an embarrassingly one sided 12 round beat down (with several knock downs) would get through to him.

I believe that Manny and Floyd will fight each other at least twice.

Regarding Hagler-Leonard, Marvin desperately wanted a rematch, but SRL avoided it (by retiring yet again) so Marvin chose to retire (and Hagler was extremely bitter about it for a long time).

I think there would be too much money and ego involved for floyd to say no to a rematch.

The most difficult thing is defining a "Robbery" prior to the fight taking place!

I mean, it is highly unlikely that Floyd clearly wins 8-4/9-3, only for all three judges to give it to Manny. Even if that were to occur, I still feel that Floyd would seek a rematch..

It may well be that what once started as hype (TBE) is truly what Floyd now believes himself to be. And if that is indeed the case, it is extremely doubtful that he could retire on such a note.

There was a lot of money too for Hagler/Leonard's rematch, never happened.

Floyd is a proud guy, if he knows deep down that he got robbed and the world knows it too, he will walk away knowing he's still undefeated.

    That's just how it is.

As for the Marvin/Leonard situation. You're right about the fact that he tried to rematch Leonard, but there were too many roadblocks. Hagler walked away. A year later Leonard called Hagler out, but Hagler remained retired. He could have easily came back and made millions more. He was still relatively young, 33 years of age.

As a long-time fan of boxing, im sure you know that Hagler wanted the rematch. Marvin actively persued a rematch and it was Leonard's refusal to grant Marvin a rematch that propelled a bitter Hagler into retirement. So, the guy who felt he was robbed did indeed seek a rematch.

As for Floyd, I take your points on board, but I do feel that you may be underestimating Floyd's ego and desire for $$$$$$$. A rematch to a controversial loss would satisy both (they rematch, Floyd wins and claims that he claims won the first fight too). Even if the whole world agreed that Floyd had been robbed (which would be impossible, given the number if Pac****s there are) his record still gets to wear the "L".

The ONLY way I see Floyd not seeking a rematch to a "Robbery" is fear that he would "Get robbed" again.
