How will Froch rank in British all time rankings if he wins the supersix?

Froch would've easily beaten Kessler if he didn't box like an idiot throughout their fight. I think it's because he spent the entire build up to saying stuff like "oo I can box on the back foot and my take Kessler apart" rather than actually using his strengths.

He basically gave the fight away by just standing around with his hands at his knees and a stupid grin on his face. I like Froch but his ego definitely got the better of him against Kessler and he forgot about just boxing. Now he appears to be making the same mistakes against Abraham and comes out with strange comments saying that everyone he spoke to thinks he beat Kessler. :huh Nobody I've spoken to believes he should've got the decision against Mikkel Kessler.

It's a shame that we're unlikely to see a rematch now.

I do feel that Froch could have done better than he did, but he's only got himself to blame.

I had Kessler winning a close fight but Froch had so much more left in the tank, he was too lazy in the middle rounds. Kessler did everything but Froch could have given more, I bet Froch really regrets his performance.

    You know what?

Froch is like a throwback to the old days, proper warrior imho.

I was thinking of his resume last night, and to fight....

    Pascal
    Taylor
    Dirrell
    Kessler
    Abraham

On the bounce and to fight only two of those fights at home takes serious balls.

That's a hell of a list of fighters to face one after the other.

I'm a big fan of joe, but he did nothing like that, fact.

Indeed, credit to Froch and I hope he beats AA.

Interestingly though, Abraham has come out and said he will start faster on saturday week. This definetley plays into Froch's hands i think because if Abraham gets a bit paranoid and thinks he might not be doing enough to win rounds, then he could get wreckless and start swinging. I do think Abraham is gonna be far more aggressive than we have seen in previous fights. Froch looks well up for it, been deadly serious with his training.

I think he will beat Abraham. Certainly wouldn't make him an underdog as he seems to be. A Pascal type performance is in order here, the second half of the fight at least where he used his jab to dictate things. The advantage he does have is Abraham is not much of a counterpuncher, he soaks it up and then fires when his opponent is doing nothing, and even if he was he'd struggle a good deal to counter with the size/awkwardness when Froch is on the outside.

All Froch needs to do is be aware of Abraham's lunges, he needs to be clued up and sharp reflex wise if he insists on keeping his hands low throughout.

Arrrrggghhhh! No-one should have to see Harrison being touted as greater than SRR no matter how tenuous the argument. :fire

As long as there's a fair ref, Froch will destroy AA to the body. I also see him using his longer reach to loop round AAs guard. Froch's defence showed much improvement in the Kessler fight. I'm convinced Froch takes this and looks good doing it, provided there is a level playing field.
