I'm sick of this ducked out of 2 fights bull****... do you ******s not cope well with facts?

Fight was signed with Wlad, Haye was only getting UK TV money, just before the fight Hayes TV station went bust, Haye asked for the money up front, TV station refuse, go bust, Haye is about to fight his most dangerous and biggest fight for free (who in there ring mind would work for free? especially when the work involves getting punched by possibly the hardest puncher in world boxing). Haye had to claim injury as to not breech contract, asked for 6 weeks grace to get a deal signed with SKY so he could get paid.... Wlad said no and fought Chagaev... Haye didn't duck... just wanted a 6 week postponement so he could get paid for the fight... i see no problem in that.

Against Vitali there was no signed contract... Haye had 2 offers on the table.
    1. Fight Vitali, fight Wlad , fight Vitali all in Germany, under K2 Promotions, with set fee in all 3 fights where by the Klits would earn more even if Haye was Unified Champ
    2. Fight Valuev In Germany under Sauerland promotions, win a title against an easier opponent, gain leverage at the negotiating table against Klits due to title, next 3 fights fight whereever you like under your own promotion company but give Sauerland a small percentage

Don't really need a business degeree to work out what one of those is a better option do you?

I don't like that Haye hasn't fought a Klit either... but i'm not a ****** that can't see the business decisions behind the fights not happening

I hope Haye will sign the contract.

50:50 with no options is more than fair.

Haye will be remembered as one of the opponents who get ko´ed from one of the best Heavyweights of all time, Wladimir Klitschko.

    She is right :D

    @suckeggs:

"Fight was signed with Wlad, Haye was only getting UK TV money, just before the fight Hayes TV station went bust, Haye asked for the money up front, TV station refuse, go bust, Haye is about to fight his most dangerous and biggest fight for free"

That is bull****. He chickened out via mysterious back injury, not via "I don´t get any money". Do you really think there wouldn´t have been a solution when Haye just said: "Hey Wlad, my TV-Station money just went down the drain, can we find a quick solution to save the fight?"

Bollocks... Haye didn't chicken out... he asked for a postponement, not for the fight to be pulled. As stated in the bit you didn't quote me on... if he had looked to postpone the fight due to any other reason other than injury Wlad could have sued him for breech of contract. Haye could have asked Wlad for a quick solution which would have been the standard Klitschko 300-500k... Haye was more than likely getting double that from Setanta and no doubt wanted to maximise his profits by trying to secure another UK tv deal. Also why would a British fighter fight for a HW unification fight without a UK TV station showing it.... just to please ignorant fans like you? To us it's a sport to fighters it's their living

A shrewd businessman and if he beats one or both Klits a pretty great fighter.

If he fought and beat both K bros he'd certainly remembered; undisputed CW and HW champ is quite a feat. I'm sure years down the line the whole ducking and backing out of fights will fade and he'll be most noted for what he actually did, which will probably lead him to be over-rated somewhere down the line.

I firmly believe him fighting and beating both brothers is a pipedream, so it's a case of if and how well he beats one of them. Either one would be a great accomplishment.

So, should this happen, I'd expect you here not giving WALDO much credit for knocking out a glass jawed, blown up CW, joke of a paper champ. If anything, perhaps you'll be here lamenting WALDO for taking on such a crap fighter. :good

No. I never say Wlad is ATG No. 1.

    This is Muhammad Ali!

But Wlad is ATG in my top Ten and i believe Wlad will be rememberd as a Top 10 ATG Heavyweight in boxing history.
