It would make for an interesting result for that fight.

But a breath of fresh air? What exactly gives you that impression? Haye - who proclaimed that he would be a breath of fresh air - has been nothing more than a fart.
Valuev, Ruiz and Audley? A breath of fresh air?
Retiring at the end of the year... a breath of fresh air?

That's just repeating a marketing line without independently thinking about it.

    Go with Wlad then.

    You'll be shocked too.

While Haye doesn't have the best chin, I think he has the heart of a fighter.

Besides, how many times did Wlad knock down Chagaev and Ibriganov (who has a questionable chin too)? How long did it take him to knock out Chambers or Peter?

The fact is, Wlad is incredibly predictable. All of his opponents know exactly what he's going to do, but lack the ability and especially the intelect to capitalize.

Chambers is considered a great boxer, yet he stood right in front of Wlad, straight up and down, basically begging for a beatdown. Same with Chagaev, Peter, Thompson, etc...

When he was against Ibraginov who was basically a 20 fight novice who was outweighed by 40 lbs, was short and stocky, and just recently acquired a new fighting style as early as his last fight, Wlad fought scared for his life and had a lot of trouble just against Sultan's head movement.

And it's not like Sultan was amazing on his feet, he jus moved his head, and that was enough to make Wlad generate one of the worst fights in history. He tried to punch on the move and looked like a clown.

Against Haye, he'll fight a guy who CAN touch him. He showed he can get passed a huge reach advantage when he fought Valuev, and while Valuev is slower than Klitschko, he also has a rock solid jaw.

If you don't think Haye has the capacity to land on Klitschko, you're going to be surprised. Klitschko has holes in his defense that is rarely exposed due to his plodding opposition, but Haye will touch him, and if he hits him with the shots he landed against Ruiz or Valuev, Klitschko will get hurt.

And he'll set those shots up by countering Klitschko who NEEDS to fight at a certain range and rythmm. Haye will force him to punch coming fowards, and Wlad's accuracy will suffer, and his size will be a disadvantage as he will miss most of his punches.

The holes in his defense will be exploited as he gets frusterated and even tired if the fight progresses that far, and Haye's speed and precision will make it easy to counter.

When he has Klitschko hurt, Klitschko won't be ablr try to clinch and cover up. He'll be a huge target due to his size and Haye will land bombs with no answer in return because Klitschko can't counter.

It will be a destruction. Wlad is very overrated.

Wlad never fought Valuev because he would get beat at his own game. It wasn't worth the risk.

    I disagree.

I think Wlad hype has people hypnotized.

This is an easy fight to predict. People are going to end up on milk cartons after this fight.

Wlad will be VERY VERY reluctant to throw his right hand in this fight. He needs to set his feet and Haye's smaller size and vastly faster feet will make it hard for him to do this without getting hit first.

Wlad has TERRIBLE accuracy when he punches on the move. Did you see him try to throw an uppercut against Ibriganov?

I thought I was watching America's funniest home videos.

Wlad and Vitali are very big and don't appear to be natural uppercut fighters. I agree Wlad doesn't seem to do well moving backwards. Neverthless, my money goes on Wlad UD. :D

Haye will do the same he did against Valuev.
Against Wlad it will not work. Wlad knows to cut off the ring and he will punish Haye with the Jab before Haye get knocked out.

Let say hayes charges in, not out of control, but goes straight at wlad, works his jab only goes for the body, an when he gets inside, throws a upper cut, let say hayes has a great fight plan, an he finds wlad chin, an sends wlad down. 7 years ago that might be it, when he fought sanders, an got put down, he got up an went straight at sanders, an he got hit again, cause his legs were gone, an he was half way out of it, well wlad went down again, an what did he do when he beat the count, he went at sanders again, an after the 2nd round started he did it again, he went straight at sanders, never getting his legs back. Today, wlad would of never did that, he would of got his legs back, got distance with his jab, changed his boxing style an adapted, he would waited for his power to weaken the would be oppent. Todays wlad you need to not just knock him down, but insure you can keep him in trouble, not let wlad display his boxing skills. Hayes needs alot of luck, even with hayes great skills to beat the 2011 Wlad

I guess that is what I mean by it being an interesting result. It is always an interesting result when an underdog defeats a dominant champion.

I was wondering if you were buying into the Haye hype that he is the saviour of the heavyweight division. I'm glad to see that you haven't.

No. I personally think haye will get exposed as a heavyweight when he fights wlad. He's going to try to win an outside fight with wlad. that's not going to work. Haye needs to jump on him and try to get a KO early.

If he dances around like he did against valuev I think he gets caught and stopped. With all respect to SNV, as he was past prime, wlad is a much entree fighter then the sugarman at that point.

It's all bull**** about the saviour of the heavies. Without the klitschkos, the heavyweight division would be an even worse state then it is now. I appreciate the klits skills and dominance. They just don't have the luxuries of fighting in a stacked division. If haye is the saviour, why is he taking on the likes of a shot SNV, shot Ruiz, And a shot Harrison? he should be fighting worthy top 10 contenders.
