Cause hes a male cheerleader that lives vicariously through a boxer and wants to have his babies, he would rather die than say anything bad about the woman beater. The dude is a loser.
why does floyd still carefully picks his opponents when he only fights once a year? he even takes long vacations in between?
dude, you can tell who he's going to fight based on who is on the undercard. Book it. Saul Alvarez vs May 2013.
Give a **** bean boy. Again, there are still shadows around every one of his career wins burrito eater.
atsch And again the *******s are wrong about Floyd fighting Canelo in May...that will go to Cotto. You were one of the idiots who said Floyd was gonna fight him in May 2012 too. These ****in *******s just keep trying. This guy gets proven wrong very easily.:deal
Honestly as a impartial fan of the sport, Floyd might break the top 55 maybe as high as 45. History is more likely to remember the fight that never happened, between the 2 best fighters in the world. Nobodies going to care what the reasons were, that the fight never happened will be the memory, and only that what should have been the defining moment in Floyd's career never happened. With them being at, or near each others weight for many years, yet having the fight never materialize, will keep him from (assuming he won) being rated possibly as high as 20. It will be the same result for Pacquiao as well, although history might be a bit more forgiving with him. Considering his triumph through the weight divisions starting at 106 pounds, and winning 8 major titles and 4 lineal championships in different divisions, all the way up to the 154 pounds (although the JMW title was won at a 150 pound catchweight.) However even with these history making accomplishments, in the end (unless they fight, and Manny wins) Floyd will be rated higher on the ATG's list. Floyd's championships through the weight classes, are equally as impressive, and when you compound that with the fact that he managed to achieve his HOF career while going undefeated, will put him a cut above. Fighting and defeating Manny, is what is going to keep Floyd's name being considered with the elite of the elite, along names like Duran, Pep, Dempsey, Marciano and Ali.
Unfortunately he'll be mostly remembered for being too hard to deal with when making the most important and best fights. Leaving the sport when his division was loaded with talented and marketable fighters was a head scratching moment and will always be stuck with him. As well as the Pacquiao scenario. It's such a shame because he had everything to beat those guys in their primes.
