 Sorry mate, it wasn't intentional. TFFP will tell you I've said Ward is a good bet in this (he said I was a racist for calling Ward "the dark horse":good).

Thats to win the tournament, he's around 2/1 to beat Kessler.

The problem Ward is going to have is that if he loses to Kessler he's only got 2 fights to make up the points and, with 1 point for a win and 2 for a KO, his lack of real power might become a problem. Someone like Froch can lose a fight, score KOs in the other fights and def. qualify for the semis that way.

You sir are a bad, bad man.

You prefer financial gain to Kessler's success :-(

The key for me in the JC v Kessler contest was how Calzaghe changed his plan part way through the fight.... from round 6 he adapted a different style... i think if JC woudl have box RJ Jnr or B Hop 6 years ago it would have been a different tale... in fact if the B Hop result would have gone the other way... would there have been much debate??... probably not??

JC was a great boxer... he did what he had to do in his era... it's a pity he was not born a few years earlier as he woudl have made a lot more money in a lot less fights against Benn, Watson and Collins....hwe would have beaten them all.. Watson would have been his toughest contest... but he would have won IMO...:yep

Not on the same level as Bika obviously, but Nathan King also went over to Denmark to spar Kessler before Joe and was convinced Kessler would win comfortably.

You're beginning to fancy him strongly eh?

    Even against your boy?

N.B - Ward now has a fight the same night as Kessler-Perdermo (doubles the chance of their fight falling thru)

I think in many ways Kessler is bigger, stronger version of Taylor, with the same weaknesses. Taylor may be a little quicker.

I think Froch may have Kessler in trouble late on as well.

TBH I don't see THAT many similarities between Kessler and Taylor, certainly not enough to draw a form line from Froch-Taylor to Froch-Kessler.

Kessler wouldn't gas out against someone like Pavlik or Froch.

He coped with Calzaghe just fine, who is way quicker than those two put together.
