Well its Hatton back to his WBU days. Anything to pad out his record. He does not exactly need experience and he should not be ring rusty.
No you are wrong. Something to do with a referee stopping him wrestling and doing his Ruiz impression. The best bit of the fight : This content is protected It gets funnier everytime I watch it. Maybe Cortez should have jumped between Hatton and the turnbuckle.
No its not. Lazcano isnt a can. ALL the guys that Hatton fought whilst he had the WBU were essentially nobodies.Lazcano is a decent name but his a decent name at 135 not 140.His also been inactive for ages and his best win at 140 is over Ben Tackie. His seen better days and the matchup means **** all at 140 let alone being advertised as world class bout.To be honest the bout is massively insignificant and means bugger all at 140.
You mean the same Vivian Harris that Kostya was mooted to fight after he whupped Mitchell and Harris entered the ring with Kostya to try and sell the fight? Only for Kostya to cash in his chips and go for the big money by coming to England? Harris IS NOT a tin can. This guy was highly ranked and top 3 when Kostya was the 1 and Mitchell the 2.I fail to see how so many posters here just dismiss him as a nobody.
I have never been impressed with Harris and personally think it was great match making by Witters management. Here we had a fighter whom looked the part, had a few decent wins (Lazcarno and Urkal)but yet was/ is in my eyes extremely vulnerable/beatable. And his high ranking dont mean much, i mean Michael Grant was as high as number 3 in most rankings. Tszyu would have stopped him easily and i think so would Hatton. We have to remember this is the same fighter whom was stopped by Maussa and beaten on point by Ray Oliviera! The same two fighters that Hatton gets derided for fighting! Having said that i think Hattons team has picked Lazcarno as a nice comeback fight, not easy but not especially demanding, and Hatton should take care of buisness in 6.
Can't blame Hatton for taking an easier option after Mayweather but everyone at Sky and team Hatton are seriously taking the **** to stick this on Sky Box Office. It'll play out uninterestingly in front 50 odd thousand pissed soccer fans
i agree.sky box office for this fight and 50,000 at the live gate it beggars belief.this fight just does not stir the juices.
Can't really moan about the choice of opponent by Hatton after just coming back from being beaten by the best P4P fighter in the world and an all time great. I really don't think it should be PPV though. Hatton TKO latter rounds.
I hope Steve opened up a can of whoop ass on him, STONE COLD STUNNER DDT! CLOTHESLINE! Knock some sense into the lad.
