Well, I think the Taylor wins those fights, but not sure how much it will affect Joe's legacy. After all, he "ruined Lacy" and Kessler didn't look that good in his last fight.

 

I will laugh if that happens or I should say when it happens.

Just both Pavlik fans I'm afraid. Had Joe just shut his mouth after deciding to fight Jones, that would have been one thing. But then to turn around and say it was PAVLIK that didnt' want the fight and he wasn't good enough? Then says he offered him a fight two years ago? When he was less experienced? Nope. Joe added logs to this fire. He had better learn to control his mouth for his fans sake. :deal

 

Check the bold underlined part of the quote. Joe did say that stuff, and it is one hell of a contradiction. Pavlik isn't good enough or a big enough name now, but he was back when his best win was Zunigaatsch

I'm not suggesting you be a fan of Joe's.

Clearly, he's not to your liking.

"Try being a fan" was meant to suggest that you post positive stuff about fighters you like as opposed to negative stuff about fighters you hate.

You must have noticed that a lot of posters on here spend the preponderence of their time attacking fighters they hate, whether it be Oscar, Floyd, Joe, the Klits, Margarito, Taylor, even established greats like Hopkins.

They quickly become termed haters and lose credibility with serious posters, because they always spew the same ****.

Excessively glowing fans (fanboys?) are annoying too, but haters are worse.


So when I say, "Hate consumes, Try being a fan" I'm not encouraging you to be a Calzaghe fan, but it's a bit much to publicly pray for a series of highly unlikely eventualities just so Calzaghe's resume could be dropped a notch or two.

JackPresscott is pretty knowledgeable on the sport, but think about his credibility on the subject of ODLH.
