No it's not you ridiculous shitbag because none of us are in any way qualified to answer this question based on fact that we don't know Cotto personally and much less know how death affects him as a person and as a fighter. Now respect the dead you bunch of clowns... not every ****ing thought that comes through your miniscule little fanboy minds deserves its' own thread.
buster douglas lost his mom less than a week before the Tyson fight.....bobby czyz dad committed suicide when bobby was up and coming....cottos career is winding down anyway......he doesnt have many fights left after all his wars
i can still picture miguel cotto vividly kissing his dad in between a round only to go out and take another beating. when you look back at that, it was very touching.
I'm pretty sure MC doesnt give a **** about boxing right now. IMO is too soon to start speculating how is this going to affect him in his career. Give it a break his dad just passed away less than 24 hours ago.
Theres a video at the end of this article where it shows when Cotto and his brother went to identify their dad's body. Very difficult moment for anybody, Cotto is a warrior but lets stop thinking about the boxer for a second and lets think about the person. My condolences to all the Cotto family. http://www.primerahora.com/diario/n...tiva/fallece_el_patriarca_de_los_cotto/355213
its a legit question.... cottos a boxer....boxing forum....boxers dad dies..... fans on forum think what hes gonna do next theres nothing wrong with that
Its going to make him more motivated, stronger and hungry to succeed. He'll comeback and beat Williams,Mayweather,Kirkland,Berto, and Margo in the rematch and have a lot of success at 154. He'll jump into the top 30 ATG list when his career is all said and done because his father's death strenghten Cotto's spirit that much. R.I.P Don
Tough blow for Cotto and his family. Hope it brings them together and it ends the feud between Miguel and Evangelista. In the ring, that pair was something else.
