Top crap HWs in a crap division.

Let's drop the nationalistic stupidity and judge the fighters for what they are.

Don't say 3G isn't getting his due because a bunch of *****s on here don't like him because his rising status is a perceived threat to Floyd.

Golovkin has gone from obscurity in the boxing coverage in the US to being one of the most talked about fighters here and his status with fans the media grows with every KO.

Ward is not popular. But no, not as boring as Wlad, Wlad is the most boring fighter on the planet.

Hopkins had had good fights and boring fights. His fights lately and story of such an older fighter retain the interest, but he is no PPV headliner right now.

Floyd has had boring fights and entertaining fights. The difference between he and Wlad is that if his first gear pot shotting sparring session routine is unsettled by a guy trying to win, that he has the skills to fight inside and to fight a hard fight to grind out a victory, as seen vs Cotto and Maidana.

Wlad with Povetkin held so much that he should have been DQed. This is because he has no inside fighting ability and Povetkin is a poor fighter compared to what's offered at Welterweight, he got a gift decision vs. the smaller and awkward Marco Huck and has never been impressive or ferocious.

Wlad fights I have seen -

    Haye
    Povetkin
    Wach
    Brock
    Byrd 2
    Thompson
    Austin
    Rahman
    Peter 1

That's all I have bothered watching and watched all of them live.

I won't bother again, he's dreadful to watch and the division is all the more dreadful.

You can cite the diversity of international HWs, but I still see a bunch of unskilled, out of shape, slow and non-athletic fighters compared to what I have seen in the past and your agenda is clear to anyone.

Your long posts don't hide your bias

More countries competing equals more competition

This means it's harder to reach the top like it is today

LOL, your agenda is even clearer :yep

The HW div. has changed and you have your panties in a bunch over it.
And it's never going back to the way you want it.

I think it's as exciting as ever. Wlad style is similar to Ali's, Wlad just bigger, stronger, and with much more power. The faster 60s Ali was too puny to compete w/modern HWs. The bigger 70s Ali was not that fast, and still didn't have a huge punch - even for that era !

Windmiller DW might win a HW trinkit and give you a hard on, but the second somebody taps that paper chin of his it's lights out :dead Or do you think he's fought mostly dish washers and past it names for some other reason? :think

So RANKED former Champion fights RANKED 3 time former title challenger for a #1 contender spot and you call it a sham.

What u think about RANKED By Jennings beating RANKED Perez last w/e.

Or RANKED Carlos Takam beating RANKED Thompson who had previously beaten RANKED Solis and RANKED Pricey.

RANKED Fury has scheduled 3 fights vs RANKED Haye and RANKED Chisora in the past 15 months. Sure they fell through, but they were fighting regularly before the letdown.

Just as many ranked fighters fight eachother in the heavyweight division as they do in any other

Only difference is American don't know most of the ranked fighters so they don't know this

start a pension plan, retirememt benefits and stop crooked promoters ripping off fighters.

negative stories like Mike Tyson being ripped off by Don King, then Tyson going broke & bankrupt, and Evander Holyfield being bankrupt too, send a bigger black eye to the HW division and younger HW athletes stay away from boxing and try out other sports like football, basketball, etc. where they are guarranteed better success and not end up broke.

positive role models, and reform of boxing politics need to happen to get the next younger HW's generations' attention.

Not this bull**** again, a bit of competition comes in from the ready of the world and America no longer can compete and they blame it on the NBA and NFL

I hate to break it to you but boxing is very far down in terms of popularity compared to other sports in europe

Don King is to blame for the HW division not being so alive.

what King did to Tyson, and Holyfield has scared younger generation of 200 lbs + athletes to stay away from the corrupt world of boxing.

Ah ya sure lmfao and you think the countless top European heavyweights that don't go pro hurts Europe ?

At least il talking about actual talent that doesn't go pro your talking about mythical fighters that don't exist, fighters don't start boxing at a young age looking to make money and there aren't 10 and 11 year old saying il not going to be a boxer because don king is going to rip me off

It is on the cusp of coming alive. Wilder is a threat as was Haye. He is undefeated and hits very hard. He has at least a punchers chance. Stiverne seems better than fair. He knocked out Arreola and Christobal gave Vitali a good long battle before he succumbed to a TKO. Haye may be on his way back and he is very fast and hits hard. Pulev is next for Wlad and he is no pushover. Exciting times at heavyweight now.

Wilder is unproven, the Stiverne fight will determine once and for all if he is a true contender. Wilder has weird power which is always a dangerous quantity, especially at heavyweight. Haye is a ***** but he has fast hands and hits hard. Wlad was very careful in their fight and beat Haye but you could see they both respected each other. The two Fury's and Joshua look very promising as the young bucks coming up.
