Every decade has at least one division that fans can point to as the most stacked. In the 80's it was the welterweights. 90's was the heavyweights. Etc.

I know it's early and we still have 7 years but I like the level of competition we are seeing at 135 and 140. Too me, the heavyweights outside of Uysk are a disappointment. Light heavy is a party of two, Middleweight is not that deep and the best at Welterweight simply don't compete against each other. Lightweight and Jr. Welterweight are full of not only talent but fighters that want to fight each other.

What divisions are you guys excited about right now?

I would still opt for a party of two :) I don't see another category that I would single out. It is too early for this kind of topic, because we are not even a quarter of a decade old.
So I decide for the lightheavy category (175 lbs). Artur Beterbiev and Dmitrii Bivol are great fighters. This decade also included undisputed super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, and that fight with Dmitrii Bivol will reverberate through the end of the decade IMO.
I very much regret that the fight Artur Beterbiev Vs. Oleksandr Gvozdyk missed this decade in about 40 days, because otherwise LHW would be without competition within your topic.
There are more good fighters and fights.

I definitely agree that Bivol and Beterbiev are outstanding fighters. I just think they are head and shoulders better than the rest of the division.

i agree, but its only potential at 135 right now. if they actually end up doing a round robin, it could get epic.

Agreed. I really like depth at 135. Aside from Haney and Lomo you have Cruz vs Cabrera coming up. The top ten is stacked and Jr Lightweight is really good as well.

Hard to say still very early

So far there's been a lot of 4 belt unification fights and a rise in women's boxing I'm guessing that'll be the tell tale

That and a rise in celebrity boxing

It's getting better. Haney vs Lomo and Tank vs Garcia is a good start. 140 was great last year with the best fighting the best. At this point I'm over Crawford, Spence and Fury.
