It's all about quality of opposition. Plenty of active fighters are undefeated, have never been KD, have amazing KO% etc.. but most of them haven't stepped their competition level yet. Fighters like Arreola, Drumond, Koeber etc.. What matters is what happens when you step up. Vitali stepped up twice & lost twice. Whatever the circumstances, you can't avoid the facts. Corrie Sanders did it. Winning a belt isn't as impressive as long-term success over the course of a few years. If Vitali comes back and holds a belt for more than, say, 3 defenses, or if he unifies.... THEN I will be impressed.
Yeah to east europeons and in the ukraine defintly he is a legend get over that fact, its not all about the american and uk fighters. And he will be in the record books so yeah he will be remembered long after you and we all here are long dead. And if you are from england why do you try and act all american "as soon as i school you" ****ing hell, you must be a young teen surley no one over 25 speaks ****ing like that do they?? No dont tell me then, your from the ghetto here in the uk lol. And dont try and get out of the fact you think hes ****,you said he lost to a fat old lewis,id say thats calling him ****,but i would expect nohing more from some of the useless ****s in here like your good self, see you later then MATE :hi: :good
No you would not,you would find some **** to hate on the guy,any ****ing excuse would do and you damn well know it.
There are only three things that I remember about Vitali. 1- His fight against Lewis... the last round to be more specific. 2- His willingnes to avenge his little brother's defeats, and of course..... 3- PATSYS' thread dedication. Did he say that VK would have been KO in the 7th???? :rofl Please, no need to start this again. :nono
He means up short as in getting his face ripped open in a bloody mess by Lewis. You don't have much use of points leads if in the fight you get knocked out or get physically damaged and unable to continue the fight without risk of permanent damage. :hi: Boxing isn't only about points. It's also about not getting knocked out and avoiding getting cutted/injured so you're not being put in a position where the ring doctor can call it off. Vitali Klitscko obviously came up short in the last area.
I agree. Like I already said patsch), it's all relative. Am I supposed to be impressed that a bunch of Ukranians will know him in 50 years? No, I'm just not an inbred fool like you who has never left the womb. I have lived In Australia, Brazil and Canada. There are one or two phrses like that that I use because they are funny to me. I suppose you think only grown-ups use names like "wankercunt"? :think I'd guess that I'm a few years older than you. I'm from Wythenshawe in Manchester, and lived a few years in Longsight so I guess if you know about those places you could say I'm from the UK "ghetto". :yep Really? I'd say it's a fact. Was Lewis in his late 30's, and (obviously) the oldest that he'd ever been in a fight? --YES. Was Lewis at a career heaviest weight, and clearly not as fit as usual? --YES. SHOW ME where I said he was ****, or (...to coin an American phrase....) STFU. Have a nice day, tough guy. :hi:
Whats with this tough guy **** where did i say i was a tough guy then?,or is that another load of old bollocks you have put down here. Coming from a guy who got all annoyed when i called him mate,i dont think theres much point me listening to you any more,as you may well say "i old schooled you big time bro",and dont worry i will indeed have a great day thanks:good
You were so annoyed you even mentioned it " i put "" around the word because clearly you are not my mate. That isn't my choice, I'm just going by the way you are speaking to me." Ok lets take a deep breath,i am going to say sorry about what i said to you,it was a bit naughty, this is a free forum and you and i have the right to put what we like. So is that cool with you then friend,we otherwise could be here all night, trying to go one up on each other, and i dont know about you,but i cant be arsed with that, damn i hardly ever get drawn into internet fights hehe,so im sorry ok:good
You have a short memory. How about you look at YOUR OWN POST where you asked me why I used inverted commas. That's is the only reason I mentioned it! That quote was an answer to your question! atsch Fine. No need to apologise, I don't take anything here that seriously. :yep But thanks anyway. I apologise too if I offended.
I'll remember him as the fighter who doesn't want to quit against Lewis despite being badly cut in a championship fight. And the guy who made the most unsuccesful comebacks because of injuries.
Yeah i was just ****ing about to,but did not expect any one to bite back ,then of course its the normal macho male thing to not give in aint it?
