Looks like S.O.B. Ward's referee is there to protect him. How will Ward's referee help him out? If Ward gets into trouble, the referee will call time out and give Ward a rest, take a point away from Kessler for hitting him. If Ward gets knocked down, the ref will call it a slip, yet give him a rest.

WATCH THE TIME KEEPER! HE WILL CHEAT THE TIME! THIS HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE IN BOXING. What else will Ward and Goosen do to cheat?

When Ward gets knocked down in the fourth the ref will count to 20. Won't matter much though.

Ref will pretend to get distracted by a pretty girl climbing up onto the ring apron. Meanwhile, behind his back, Goosen will get in the ring and hold Kessler's arms behind his back while Ward repeatedly slams Kessler over the head with a steel chair. I guarantee this will happen, probably in the first three rounds.

The ref can call it a slip as much as he wants, but when Ward is being knocked down silly and can't stand up anymore, he WILL lose the fight, on KO or on slip it doesn't matter.

Fortunately there will be TV coverage of the fight, so nobody can get into the ring and hit Kessler with a baseball bat without anyone (aside of the spectators, who would find this okay I bet...) watching...

What does it matter, when Ward ends up with staring at the ceiling, tongue hanging out of his mouth?

Or could Kessler be disqualified for hitting too hard in California?
