I can see were you are coming from...but it doesn't stop the fact that he murdered his wife and then took the cowards way out, leaving his child parentless. Yes he needed help, but there are plenty of people in the world who have been in similar or worse situations. But do they resort to murdering there wife...NO. You can say the bike accident messed his head up and he suffered a blood clot, etc...but in my opinion thats just an excuse. The people who needed to help him...didn't, but the person who committed the murder was him, no-one else!!
People like Valero don't deserve to be remembered by anyone. The victims of their crimes (i.e. his wife) do however...
Truthfully. The fighter I saw go from being successful in the ring, to falling apart in the matters of months. Valero will be remembered killing his wife, then committing suicide the next day.
An exciting and talented fighter who cuda been a superstar but had real demons outside the ring that he cudnt beat.
As a very promising fighter who probably suffered from mental illness that lead to multiple forms of tragedy.
I'll remember him as a YouTube sensation who would have been thoroughly beaten by any marginally talented fighter.
