The cruiser version of holy against Ali, frazier, Norton quarry etc? Would the weight be a issue as such here as it would have been twenty years later?
Do the skills and holys fighting heart take him through to more wins than losses in this decade?
Holy field is a legend in the heavyweight division, how does a smaller version do against his fellow ATG s of another era?

I think Holy would have done pretty good.

He's got a high all-round skillset that enables him to handle almost any kind of matchup. Ali with his size and speed may have been problematic, but then, he was problematic for many heavyweights. I reckon Holyfield's downfall was his penchant for getting into slugfests with strong guys a lot bigger than him, like Bowe. Technically he could pick apart nearly all of the 70's fighters. Foreman might be a problem, mind you, if Holy decided to slug with him.

Ditto. Ali been ali would give any 70 s fighter a hard time, I think holy could really push Ali and cause him to really gut it out. Can see it been a Norton type rivalry. Frazier would have been a war and wouldn't like to predict between those. Norton and quarry I believe he beats. Foreman... Now that s one that could turn nasty for holy if he goes steaming in.

I think the Foreman, Frazier, and Ali all beat him. All three would be terrific fights though and I actually predict Ali having the toughest time beating him, maybe even dropping one bout and winning a trilogy. The reason being that Holyfield just had the type of stuff that doubles Ali. He had the speed, work rate, and stamina to catch up to him.

Frazier brutally knocks out Evander inside the distance , he just doesn't hit hard enough to get Joe off him. Ali would bust him up and stop him at about the 13th. A young George Foreman? Evander would be blasted out

Maybe he beats Quarrey. That's it.
