Except it wasn't an exhibition bout.

The mere fact that you're not capable of understanding the differences between Japanese rules and unified rules as well as the referee's discretionary decision(s) renders any discussion with you fruitless.
Aoki's a star in Japan. He's not afforded that same luxury in the US. But you knew that didn't you.

in the rules it says if one is on the mat and the other is backing off the one on the mat is to be standed

How long have you been watching MMA seriously? There's a number of guys who've been watching this sport for a long long time. You all of a sudden discover Japanese MMA and now you think you've got the inside scoop because you know who Aoki is? And since when did REGULAR and DREAM appear in the same sentence? Their shows are once in a blue moon. DREAM only sprang up as an offshoot of PRIDE because those were the old DSE employees that never got employed by the UFC.
Wind it in rookie. You're making yourself sound like an idiot. Oh wait a minute.....

It was not an exhibition bout? Then what category do you classify this in? Does the loss go in his special rules bout record? And why did you even bring it up?

What you mean you don't know? Didn't your search for his record on Sherdog yield the results you expected? Imagine that Aoki's biggest fan and you haven't even seen one of his most recent fights.....

And the reason why i brought it up was to illustrate the concessions that Aoki is given in Japanese MMA because he's seen as a flag bearer for Japanese MMA. A bout that like wouldn't have taken place anywhere else BUT Japan. Simply put he's popular IN JAPAN.
Aoki isn't allowed those same concessions in SF for obvious reasons. In addition as per the unified rules fighters that are stalling are stood up. He doesn't have home advantage and neither should he expect it. But as usual my explanation has gone over your head yet again.

Aoki fights in every Dream and Dynamite event, which means he has about 4 bouts a year. This is the same as most stars at Dream, which means that even though the there were 4 Dreams last year (+1 Dynamite), the fighters in Dream got more fights that most UFC fighters. How is this once in a bluemoon? I don't care how long you have been watching MMA but you brag "I know that Dream's management is from Pride" and don't even keep track of the events.

What concessions did he get in that bout? That was a match between a K1 fighter and the to MMA fighter in the country using K1 rules for the first round and MMA for the second(Nagashima could still use his kickboxing. If it was real match Aoki would have been DQd in the first round). Not a regular fight at all. And I still can't think of a reason why you brought it up other than to point out that Aoki got KOd.

He's a flag bearer for MMA in Japan for a reason, he is the best fighter there. And I'm not answering to your pompous bull****.

I don't need to keep count of the number of DREAM event's. Il leave that to Sherdog record surfing guppys like you. Either way DREAM holds an event sometimes as much as 3 months apart. The UFC has an event EVERY month. Sometimes twice a month. So yes comparatively it is once in a blue moon. You really didn't think this one through did you...

Tell you what since you know so much about Dynamite why don't you tell me which company and brand held the first Dynamite event and how long has Dynamite being going for? Now off you go to Sherdog...

I love how you try to passoff being an idiot dickhead as intelligence. You don't need to keep count of them, but if you watched them, you would know that the top Dream fighters are in pretty much every event. Of course they cannot put on more events, they don not have a large enough stable, it would be dishonest. But most of the fighters fight more often than the fighters in the UFC, that was my ****ing point.
