How would a junk food meal 1 hour before a super fight effect a fighters performance

Its the attention to detail.

Same way - I highlighted - on the way to the O2 arena for the fight - Enzo
Calzaghes Vauxhall People Carrier was missing one of the main beam headlights.

I think the M.O.T was up on the vechicle.

 

It seems everything was done in a rush that night -

Typical of Enzo Calzaghe to do things at 100 mph.


They scrambled all their stuff together and rushed out of the hotel - after Enzo Calzaghe realised "**** is that the time" :shock:

Last minute rush and D-Tour to the chippie in the Vauxhall People Carrier to grab a last minute meal - much much too close to the big fight.

And then - they stuffed that food down quickly - they didnt even bother getting out of the vechicle to dispose of the waste - Enzo Calzaghe started the engine back up and as they moving along - Enzo Macc just tossed the wrappers and empty cans out of the window of the moving vechicle onto the road. Litter Bugs. :nono

Then the warm up on the pads was rushed - arriving just 10 or 15 minutes before the fight ring walks - .

Then the sprint to the ring.....................

 

Maybe thats why the hunger suddenly came on him - the night of the fight - when he needed his energy levels up ?

Nice quick D-Tour to Mickeys Fish and Chips for a late night fix.

Not eating properly for 3 whole days would make anyone hungry. Epscially when you going to have to go in a ring for a huge fight thats going to take all your energy up.

 

Haye was cut - with blood dribbling down his eye - he got desperate thats why he went for it early in the 2nd round.

 

Hayes excuses are lame.

Pie and Chips and Dr Pepper - giving you indigestion during the fight - is much more plausible giving the rushed circumstances that Enzo Calzaghe was responsible for.

 

Better to take a shot like that flush on the chin than a sickening body shot - otherwise Big Enzo might of been spewing up Pie and Chips mixed with Fizzy Drink.

It was Enzo who was dishing out the body shots - cause he has always been a much better body puncher than David Haye.

Enzo caught Haye with a wicked left hook to the body in the 2nd round............it had Jo Emma Larvin ringside clapping. (she had travellled to the arena with Joe Calzaghe also ringside in the back seat of that Vauxhall people carrier).
