Let's take the late 80s version of both men. The leonard around the Hearns rematch time, and the Barkley around the time he fought Duran. Let's hear it!

Leonard decision. That version of Hagler is still better than Barkley

Leonard by decision but it wouldn't be an easy fight, I think he would get dropped by Barkley but win a close one.

I like Ray to KO him after a tough fight, maybe around nine. Something like the Lalonde fight — Ray boxes and maybe hits the canvas once when Iran pins him down, Iran builds a slight lead and then the killer in Ray comes through and he catches Barkley with a counter and is unrelenting til it’s stopped.

Leonard decision. Hearns was still sharp, and powerful.

The SRL from Hagler wins nicely and I'd comfortably favor the pre title version that beat top #5 middleweight Marcus Geraldo at a weight of 153 pounds. The level is too much for Iran to overcome. His only chance is a stoppage and that ain't happening.

Yeah because this is definitely not the prime Leonard.

Leonard beats him, pretty much the same sort of decision win as Barkley V Nunn.

Leonard and those sharp punches bust him up for the tko stoppage. Late and Ray having to absorb some tough body shots in there. Kind of bout that might have some wear and tear on Leonard & his next bout might very well be a flat effort.
