How would a match go with Tyson at 20 vs Ali at 20?

Back when Budweiser was still an American owned beer company and made real commercials

Yeah. Those television commercials were on during the broadcasts of those fights on ABC's Wide World Of Sports.

Basically 62 Ali vs 86 Tyson. I don’t see it going too well for young Cassius.

Muhammad was brought along considerately - a developmental curve that ultimately lent to a complete fighter, built to last against all comers.

Yeah, why isn’t that win listed on Boxrec?

I think I’ll lodge a complaint with them accompanied by the filmed evidence.

Before the fight, Muhammad said “I will make the Mountain come to me and then knock him out!”

They need to look up the definition of Insanity, it describes the desire to post that particular thread. Ha Ha.

    Indeed, a VERY different story.

For whatever it's worth, Ali was 30 through 1972, a very fine and versatile six bout campaign. Tyson had his back to back defeats against Holyfield at that age in 1996 and 1997. Lennox was his only title bout after age 30, and an extremely strong argument can be made that he did not deserve his shot at LL except for having once been Mike Tyson.

To change and freshen it up - I’ve got a Monzon v Hagler thread on the drawing board - what do you reckon Rich, run that one up the flag pole and see how it flies? Kidding buddy. :D

Just my opinion, by age 22, Ali has the 20-year-old version of Tyson (and any other version following that) covered.
