How would a prime Bowe have fared against the Klitschkos?

The Klits are great at keeping fighters at a distance with their reach advantage. Prime Bowe was great on the inside. He's a threat to either one of them if he gets in close.

Bowe at his best stops both brothers EARLY.

Old Lennox needed six to end a prime Vitali's night.

Old Corrie Sanders needed two to destroy Wlad.

Old Corrie Sanders had Vitali back pedaling, panicking, and flailing like he was imitating brother Wlad before Vit crumbled to the deck late in the 1st round.

Prime Bowe would do the same a prime Lennox would have done - went straight in and simply hit the brothers with the biggest shots before they could even get the least bit comfortable. The Klits are actually inferior punchers/boxers to Corrie Sanders offset by being in superior shape and conditioned. Bowe would have simply kicked their ass.

A better question is how long could both brothers have survived if old Corrie sanders wasn't so old and hadn't trained on boxes of donuts and cases of beer?

Still, the brothers Klitschko are the largest and best conditioned in the pathetically dismal heavyweight division of this era. Whatever that's worth ....

    1. Holyfield's "above average power" and determination would be sufficient ingredients to give any heavyweight considerable trouble.

    2. Toney Tubbs was not home run hitter nor was he feather fisted. Uninspiring yes, but feather fisted no. A blown up Super Middleweight such as Chris Byrd is feather fisted.

    3. Yes, Bowe did fight Morrison.

    4. Goloata's mental disposition has no bearing on whether any of Bowe's opponents could fight. When was the last time either Klitschko fought an opponent in their prime that was comparable to Bowe's opposition? And, can you explain when did either Klitschko fight a tall, hard hitting, natural heavyweight with a good jab with the exception of Lewis? Perhaps Sanders? We all know the result of that don't we.

    5. Bowe may not have been that good in your opinion however he was better than any opponent the Klitschkos have fought with the exception of Lewis which would lead any logical thinking person to believe either Klitschko losing to Bowe is not inconceivable, in fact it is probable. None of the Klitschko's level of opposition comes close to Bowe's. To deny this would be completely unfounded.

Holyfield says himself that only one man was able to beat him - it was Andrew Golota. The only man who could exchange infront of him. Holy gave Lewis two great bouts, Lewis was big, strong and good technician but Holy did very well, imo even winning both events. Going this path Holy couldn't do **** to Bowe really. Lewis beat Golota in a minute but it we kno ho Golota behaves when his head ain't right. Old Lewis beat prime Vitali so his eye nearly pooped up, Bowe KOs Wlad in two, wins with Vitali on cuts or a wide UD. It's all so complex but Klits aren't the master of wars, Bowe was.

Bowe would have win with Lewis, they both ducked each other and I believe Lewis' chin wasn't good enough to take shots from Bowe.

A Futch trained Bowe at his prime would out duel either Klitschko from either point. It's silly to even think that the Klitschko's have a chance.

Anybody that watched Lewis vs V Klitschko knows that Lewis didn't train too hard and take the fight seriously and paid for it. However, he began to land as the fight went on and opened that machete-like gash in Vitali's face to win. Now, imagine a prime Bowe in there. No good for Vitali.

Prime Wlad would make the fight a bit of a stinker, then get worn down for a TKO.

I'd at least give a greater chance to Vitali to make the fight interesting. Can't give either man the W though. That belongs to Bowe.

    Pretty much the same here:

I'd have it 55-45 against Wlad

    45-55 against Vit

Prime Riddick Bowe lasted about 45 minutes, so it's a really difficult question to answer.
