How do you see Tito against SRL, Hearns, Duran, and Hagler?
How do you see DLH against SRL, Hearns, Duran, and Hagler?

*Hagler might be the most difficult not only for his insane skills but he was the biggest one since he never was a welterweight like the others.....

I think they could have held their own. They could have competed right there with them. So would Shane.

Hagler takes them both. @ MW
    Leonard takes them both.
    Hearns K.O.'s both.
Duran.... Beats Tito but might struggle w/De La Hoya?

At welter? Hagler is out then.

I think Hearns beats them both, but it would be tough fights and Hoya and Tito both had the power to catch him at that weight.
    Leonard outboxes both of them.
    Duran may struggle with them.

I just popped wood thinking about these fights. Offhand...

Tito over Duran, loses badly to Hagler, loses badly to SRL, loses a WAR to Hearns.

Oscar gets schooled by all of them, and of course Hagler at 160 is a total mismatch..

I can see Duran's ability to box being underrated in this thread.

tune up opponents for the fab 4. tito too one dimensional, oscar's just a **** up in big fights, and those for sure would be the biggest fight of his career.

The Duran of the 1st Leonard fight was a league apart from DLH and Tito imo. I'd take the top 3 welterweights of that era to beat Tito and DLH to be honest.

Tito would struggle most, I'm afraid to say.

Also, Oscar's chances would've been much better regarded if he hadn't gassed out in the final few rounds of almost every big fight he was in or if he used his underrated, beautiful jab more rather than abandoning it the deeper a fight went.

As well-decorated as he is, he could've done a lot more for his legacy in terms of the quality of boxer he will be remembered as.
