If Froch beats Tayor fairly convincingly, how will it compare/rank to Calzaghe's win over Kessler?

The victory over Kessler ranks higher in my humble opinion

Kessler win was better, froch gets extra points for doing it in taylors back garden though

i think it ranks higher although the win over kessler was a good perfomance .because of it being his first defense.
calzaghe was already established as the longest reigning champ froch is taking a bigger risk in fighting taylor if he loses he's just a flash in the pan were as if calzaghe would have lost he it could have been said that he was on the slide. bigger risk so better victory

Taylor is a much bigger scalp than Kessler.

FFS, who the heck has he fought? he beat Mundine on points.... thats it.

Would Kessler beat Hopkins twice? nope.

No way, much bigger win than Calzaghes over Kessler, who had Kessler beaten of that much significance when JC beat him, and look at Taylor, only come unstuck against one opponent, beaten, or nearly beaten (draw with Winky) legends of the sport, come on guys think straight.
First defence and in US makes this yards better than Calzaghes performance.

I voted Calzaghe win over kessler.

Reason being i put both wins in context.

Kessler was an undefeated unified world champion at 168 fighting a veteran in calzaghe, and he was outclassed.

Taylor has fought once at 168 against lacy, froch is prob in his prime atm and taylor has lost twice, not KO'd anyone in 4 years and holds little clout at 168.

If the fight was at 160 when JT was champ i would vote for that.

Kessler was a unified champion, undefeated, and had actually beat top super middleweights.

    Case closed.

Kessler's a much bigger win. Both JC and MK are clearly more talented than Taylor and especially Froch.
However as I feel that Froch is a level below Taylor I'll still be very impressed if he can get the win, Especially as it's away from home.
    Can't see it happening though.

Taylor ... Taylor ... the guy who got beating at 160 2x and
never achieved anything special at 168?
