Man only a few of you can answer the question, read the title again. If Joshua had “taken”, not Joshua has defense blah blah blah. Joshua would have gotten up but been dazed and tried to hold.

Fury has an average chin, yet he got up and continued fighting.
AJ would go down, but would survive.
Even Charlie Z took Wilder's shots.

wilder landed the most perfect shot he is capable of landing, in the perfect spot, and breazeale was up at count of 11. i could think of a couple of hitters that would have kept him down for a 50 count, if they got their money shot on the sweet spot.

AJ would not take that right hand so clean in the first round. And the questions is how would Wilder take the right hand of AJ?

Imagine a double knockout! What would happen to the belts? Would both fighters get a loss and a KO win? LOL

Very, very, very, very, very poorly.

Like might not make the 10 count poorly.

He would get up, early in the fight/still fresh. If it was later, who knows, could be counted out similar to DB.

Took a massive shot from Wlad in the 6th, got up, clearly hurt but did the right thing and composed himself (Wlad laying off was a mistake on his part though). I still think AJ mops the floor with Wilder. He won't get the chance to set up his money shot like that vs AJ.

We can only speculate. Breazeale did get up but clearly was in no condition to continue, Fury when eating not 1 but 2 flush shots got up to hurt Wilder, maybe Joshua doesn't get up, maybe he does. He got up from a huge right hand from Wlad and went onto win.

If we ignore his superior defence and the minimal chance of him walking in with a left hand so low you have to realise Joshua has a far better stance than Breazeale. Breazele just walked in chin in the air, squared up, went to throw a left which left him wide open and got jumped on by Wilder. That wouldn't be the case with Joshua.

Joshua in comparison would have his chin tucked, feet set, in his usual stance, even if he left himself open to get caught his position would ensure he takes the punch better than Breazeale did. If you watch the Wlad right hand, Joshua has his chinned tucked in, his stance set and so his head doesn't whip around like Breazeale's as his right shoulder prevents his head from spinning around and so the impact of Wlad's right hand was lessened as his body was set correctly to absorb it.

A 37 year old Bermaine Stiverne took that punch in the their first fight 30 times and didn't go down. Eric Molina took numerous flush rights hands before he finally quit. Artur Spzilka took that right hand flush numerous times. Johann Duhaupus took that right hand 100 times and didn't go down at all. Old man Ortiz took numerous flush right hands before his old butt got stopped. AJ has no chin either. But I think he could take that right hand. The better two questions would be would that right hand even land? Probably not. The second question would be could Wilder take AJ's right hand. The answer would be no.

We will never know how AJ takes the shot, because Wilder is too scared to sign the contract and fight him. Also, Wilder was 9 for 35 against Breazeale. That means he missed A LOT. And for a counter puncher like AJ, he would have been made to pay a lot before throwing again.

Difficult to say but not beyond the realms of possibility that he either doesn't get up - or he gets up only to face a typical Wilder onslaught.

If it were the reverse - i.e. Wilder being caught by a Joshua right hand - I'm almost convinced it would be lights out.

Didn't look to have that much power behind it. Wilder is just a freak tho.

That punch doesn't land against Joshua or Fury , it would be inches wide.

Its like when Hatton said the punch that Pacquiao knocked him out with also knocks out a horse.

But then only a horse and Hatton square up with their chins in the air...

It is so rare I am not sure. Does anyone know? It could be counted as a no contest...
