In the 12th, the one two, followed by the left hook from Wilder, how would AJ take it? Lights out for the big man or just like light refreshments on a summers day?

He has a lot less head movement so he would not take it too well

AJ will be stopped if he's hurt seriously late. Doesn't matter who it is. If it's in the first 6 rounds he MIGHT survive.

difficult to say, but if he managed to get up the question becomes has he got the recovery and defensive skills to survive? Personally id say he doesn't, I think he is not mobile enough and would get teed of on. That's why I give Wilder a good chance against AJ.

The first shot fury caught he was ducking down, Joshua doesn't move like that, if anything it would be the winding right hand that would catch him. However I think he would get up but fight would be stopped as his legs do stiffen up when hurt

AJ vs wilder will not make it past 5/6 IMO, Tyson fury is so hard to hit and at the same time doesn't posses killer knockout power like AJ/Wilder. take Tyson out the equation and you have 2 heavyweights with 1 punch knockout power who don't have the best movement. this is a fight of who lands clean first will win

You only have to look back at AJ v Wlad. Mid fight and it took AJ rounds to get over the heavy knock down. Wilder wouldn't let him off, he would close the show. Having said that it would be the same the other way around. Both fighters would go for the kill if the situation presented itself. Neither have Furys skill or movement.

He recovered just fine vs Whyte and Wlad.

Wilder has poor finishing skills, he misses so many shots and is so easily countered down the middle because his shots are so wide and telegraphed. Fact is he's quite vulnerable when going for the KO and against a puncher like Joshua could very well get caught coming in.

If caught in the 12th he aint getting up, gassed out plus he would take the combo more flush because he is not as elusive and awkward as Fury..................caught in the 5th or 6th, possible but again, he is not as slick as Fury when on wobbly legs, he is even more stiff when hurt, most likely he would get caught again in the follow up and then its lights out.

He survived the WK knock down because WK basically refused to follow up and put it on the line............Wilder would put it on the line.

IMO AJ got up from Wlad based on heart--via accurate shot. I think he could recover here as well. If he loses it's staggering on his feet, with the lights on & no one home. An equilibrium shot, not a flush one.
