If that is the case I unreservedly retract the post. For you to agree is like Hitler saying he liked Jewish people. It becomes worthless.

Really??? You said all that.?? Not sure what to reply.. Just thought I'd let you know I read it.. Good luck with that... You said, Ali couldn't beat Frazier... Couldn't do anything with Foreman till he knocked him out....He was beat by Norton... And Foreman says...And Where did boxing lack a dominating champion? Since the 70's.. I think.... Welcome to the the Twilight Zone... right there! :patsch

Nothing twilight about it..those are facts!

Ali beat Frazier 3 years later!Anyone who knows about styles know the swarmer will slow down significantly..foreman also said Ali would lose to Frazier in the 60's due to clash of styles and said Frazier would have an easier time then because ali was not as defense savvy which is also common sense,i use foreman since he was the second best Hw of the 70's and fought Ali.

    2 words.

    One begins with F,

    and the other is

    OFF.

Your posts prove you are a self adoring numb skull who if you were half as clever as you think you are, would be twice as clever as you actually are.

    You are stupendously boring.:roll::hi:

Funnily enough, I have long held the belief that the overwhelming majority of Murican Heavyweights are / were " bums " so even if your theory on Shavers is correct, I am proved right.:lol::rofl

This thread, poses this question: How would Ali beat Vlad? My original reply was, LIKE A RUG... But, I'll articulate that a little better... You've said Klitschko's size and power would bother a man with one of the greatest chins in boxing history besides Jake LaMotta. Before you mention Henry Cooper (who threw the best left hooks of his life) let me remind you of Brewster, Sanders and Purity. Ali never got knocked out like that, and those three couldn't carry Ali's jock strap, and he beat boxers that where ten times better than Wlad or Vitali. How the f*ck does Klitschko have more experience against top Heavys? Ali would have beaten both these guys with ease.. They are both a couple weak chin over grown robots ... Max Baer would've demolished'em....even Two Ton Tony Galento would've said, "I'd flattened the bums.." And he would've too!

That's about as plain and simple, as he, or I can put it.. I'll stand back and wait for the bull**** to fly...

the greatest chin according to who?he never fought bigger punchers than Wlad, and certainly foreman nevr really connected to his chin off the ropes or even to his chin much,he lacked technical abilities such as accuracy and more importantly speed...Ali is a sitting duck for a lengthy power punchers that pick there shots, theres no twisting you can do to change that, norton would've knockes Ali out with Wlads power are you telling me Norton is more skilled now as well?He was hit easily by far less speed y fighters, now add power, you can imagine what will happen, one, two, three punches ....doesn't matter The old Wlad lethal left is a disaster waiting to clash here.

your last two sentances really shows why you are way off with everything you post! Two ton tony?

I'd say the biggest mistake you made was using your real name after that one! :-(

    You haven't.

You have either been drinking, or smoking skunk, which is NO problem whatsoever.

However, perhaps due to the effects of these mind altering substances, you omitted the most important observation of Ali.

There has NEVER been a Heavyweight with the speed of both HAND and FOOT, COMBINED as him.

Which might explain why some people rate him the best EVER;)

    I could go with that.

That said, Ali still has to hit Wlad to beat him, without getting pounded himself, and that means coming within range of a bigger, skilled technical fighter with a longer (and great) jab backed with crushing power, who fights intelligently.

I'm not saying Ali couldn't do it.

But could he do it all night long?

    I don't know about that.

Look, Shavers hit freaking hard. Let's be fair. But whether he had the skills to back up his power, is another matter. Shavers has some horrible losses on his record.
