ALL the boxing dominant champs has size advantage with the exception of Tyson, again you don't know what your talking about, now bring up selective fights that's all you can do.
he didn't clean up anything he lost Twice to Bowe...Lewis was the dominant Champion anyway...bowe hid from Ruddock,Lewis and Morrison 3 big punchers...3 top Hw's that would k.o him in all probability..lou duva who managed both Holyfield and Golota said Golota was his best fighter not Holyfield before Golota was a head case..another clueless point above me,no HW dominated under 215 after Tyson its not even refuttable!:-(
NO, what is more original, is fukking idiots trying to claim that a big, slow footed, useless dummy, like Vlad K is going to throw out jabs in the general direction of a prime Ali, and they will land. I am more than willing to discuss Klitchko's further limitations in comparison to Ali, if you have the inclination to be educated. One oozed class, the other is a big, stupid robotic piece of meat. It really is that simple.
Not only do I think that Klitschko will land his jabs, I think that he has the edge in the matchup. I think that if Wlad can outjab Ali (and given his much greater power, wingspan and defensive ability there's a good chance of that) then Ali is SOL. Clinching is going to work in WK's favour. Rope a dope will not work on the cautious WK. I think Ali might be able to bedazzle WK for short stretches, yes. But over the length of the fight WK's power and size will inevitably begin to tell, and that at the end of the fight Muhammad is a mess. If Ali could hit harder I would probably tilt the edge back to him. But he'd never been a devastating puncher, albeit a he was a solid one. But Ali's slick style precludes him having great power because he never really sets himself up to throw bombs. I just think it's a horrible style matchup for MA. Joe Louis on the other hand I think would have the edge on WK, because he cracks much, much harder. Again, though, Muhammad was something special. COULD he have outboxed Klitschko for the stretch of the fight without exhausting himself, and racking up a lopsided UD? It's possible, but I would not bet on it. Either way it is a fun debate. Have a good day.
So now it's a mismatch! This gets better. Anyway one of your arguments was that in his era Ali always had a size advantage. Now you're stating that his career may have been shortened because he fought bigger men all of his career.
Ali didn't fight bigger guys up until the 70's what are you talking about...Terrell was the only prime guy really that outsized him and I wouldn't exactly call a 205 pound lumbering fighter gigantic would you?..180 or 202 pounders aren't big are they?:nut
Wlad is not lumbering,if you think he is then like most on here they aren't really watching the fights, they are just being Ali fanboys and that's all they know!:yep
I agree, he's pretty damn quick for his size. He's no Ali in the footwork department, fair enough, but sooner or later even an opponent with great footwork has to come within range
Wlad moves fast..its not all about running around, its also about cutting the ring off,Wlad doesn't follow his opponents around like a idiot, hes to smart for that...watch any Ali fight and mysteriously know one knows or attempts to cut the ring off, they follow him in a circle,Wlad would never do that.
