How would Amir Khan's career have gone if he STAYED with Frank ****** from 2009-Now?

So naturally most will agree that Frank played a big role of getting Amir back on track after his 1st loss. Literally getting him into a title fight 10 months later, but I've always wondered, where would Amir be NOW had he chose to stay with Frank ******? Would he have gone to the US and become more US based? Would he have taken fights against the likes of Maidana as soon as he did? And most of all, do you think he would have been led in a better direction had he stayed or would it have been a similar picture of both ups and downs throughout?

Me personally, i think Amir wouldn't have fought as many US names, and most CERTAINLY i feel the Maidana fight would have been postponed for as long as possible, i also believe the Peterson and Garcia losses would have never taken place (i think if Peterson happened it would have been in the UK and Amir would get the nod and i believe Garcia simply wouldnt happen).

Amir Khan without golden boy imo wouldn't be screaming or have the confidence to scream for the fight with mayweather.
Khan cause he feels he lives or trains or is based or what ever he does in america, he feels hes among the 'elites in boxing'.

not sure why he took the Pederson fight in Washington anyway, think frank would have managed his career better after the 2 losses, because taking long breaks to fight Molina, diaz, collazo and not fighting DA when he had his ibf belt, (thought schooling him 12 months later in a far less meaningful fight) isn't good enough in 3 years for someone imo has the boxing ability to be top 10 p4p

broner, malinagi, alexander, Bradley and now brook have all held belts at WW in the last few years, khan will be favourite against all of these.

golden boy did do well for khans profile in the USA though, he has sold out vegas which usa fightes like wilder, Thurman etc haven't done. I'm not sure if its goldon boy, al hayman or khan himself but he should be fighting 3/4 times a year at this stage of his career

I agree, which is why its pretty annoying how his career is currently being managed, here is he POTENTIALLY in the peak of his career physically and mentally, at the right weight and all, but yet is being carefully managed and even he himself isn't looking to fight whoever is put infront of him anymore (at least thats how i see it), between 2010-2012 he was realistic, fighting the other competitors of the division, working his way up to the mega fight's, but now he's just kind of waiting for the big fight against a big world name without being willing to fight anybody else. I mean its nearly April and he still hasn't arranged an opponent, yet theres so many fights he could be in, i don't even need to mention the brook fight at this point, we all know it should be happening, but if not that fight then at least push for a Bradley fight, or at the VERY least, a Maidana Rematch, i think Khan-Maidana 2 would be a huge event because of how the first went.

You only have to look at the careers of Hatton and Calzaghe to see what Frank would have done with Amir. His profile would be lower in America but I doubt he would have been either screwed over in a fight like he was against Peterson or brutally KO'd in a hastily put together fight like he was against Garcia.

Frank has a proven track record of delivering the big fights at the right times (Tszyu, Lacy) so my feeling is that Khan would have been more successful had he remained with FW.

His career would be worse and Amir wouldn't be as popular as now.

in fact I hope Kell sign with Top Rank/Haymon. He deserve more recognition.

He wouldn't have got nearly as many big fights as he has. Lets face it, the top fighters at 140-147 fight specifically in America and for GBP or TR. Mainly GBP really, and Khan was lucky to be with them during his career.

I agree, I really do hope Brook signs with Haymon. He will never get Mayweather/Pacquiao because no one in America knows him. Fighting on SHO this weekend will help, but a little too late IMO. If he fought on American TV for his entire career or most of it like Khan, he would be in the Mayweather/Pacquiao sweepstakes.
