Add John Conteh to that list.

Andre Ward's main competitive advantages in this era are somewhat nullified by these old timers. Jury is still out for me but I feel he is now fully adjusted to 175lbs at least at the highest level.

John Conte, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Michael Moorer and Virgil Hill should also be mentioned.

I think Ward might do well at least against Saad Muhammad, Hearns, Hopkins and maybe Spinks. The rest he loses to all of them.

Would really like to have see how he would have done against the master boxers such as Moore, Charles, and Johnson.

Nothing can stand up to Ward's "Shivering Palm to the Basement" technique.

Holyfield only fought at LHW as an amateur. He was a little over the limit for his first couple bouts and then fought closer to 190, which was the cruiserweight limit then.

Ward beats DM, Hearns, and Hopkins, which would be only ugly and foul-fested fight.

The late 70s/early 80s LHW era was super talented. Spinks, Qawi, Saad, EM Muhammad, M. Johnson, Galindez.
