Bute has great uppercuts to the body because he KO'd two bums with body shots? Sorry that isn't going to cut it, I doubt he would get much leverage on his punches fighting Ward Bute's best shot might be in the beginning when Ward sort of is trying to figure you out, after that Bute is done, he is pretty 1 dimensional in my eyes.

Beats them all except Dawson who will keep him at bay controlling the distance with his great long jab.

I'd probably slightly favor Ward against Bute, just because he's the smarter fighter, but it's almost too close to call, especially since Ward has never faced a decent southpaw. Ask me the question again tomorrow and I might favor Bute. They're that close in my mind.

Ward schools Pavlik. Follows Hopkins gameplan. Pavlik maybe wins a round or two.

Ward schools Pascal as well. Pascal would barely lay a hand on Ward. Ward would be able to pick off all his looping shots, but this is the one fight where you might see somewhat of a shootout.

Dawson is a little tougher. He's much longer than Ward, has a good jab, decent pop and is a good technical boxer. I'd slightly favor Dawson, in part because I've never seen how Ward handles a good southpaw, but I could see Ward getting inside and working Dawson there where he's not as good of a fighter.

He's a tough fight for anyone in his weight range though.

What would keep Ward from just leaning on him like he did against Green? I've never see Abraham fight particularly effectively up close. I know Abraham's got those strong forearms to push him off, but I think he struggles without a hometown ref who keeps breaking them up.
