I haven't watched much of Denis Boytsov but read some good things. 30-0 with 25 KOs sounds impressive, but has he fought anyone of decent quality? How would he do against the "up and coming HWs" like Tyson Fury, David Price, Helenius? Does he have the potential to make it at world level?
Going out on a limb, I'd argue he could stop both. Fury and Price both have debatable chins that their level of recent opposition has been unable to exploit.
Boystov is a one-dimensional fighter who comes forward, no head or body movement whatsoever, with respectable power as his record shows if Fury and Price learn to establish thier jab like the K bros, then Boystov loses soundly to both
Price has a poor chin himself. I refuse to see him as a contender because he beat Sam Sexton. We need to see Price in with someone who doesn't allow him to dictate, and I don't think Boystov would. (I don't disagree that Price could win by KO.)
Sexton is about as good as a shot Dominick Guinn, who was Boytsov's last opponent. Plus at 6'1 and 215 pounds Boytsov is by no means a big HW. But Price has gotten caught by some stupid punches in the past, and against Boytsov that could be lethal. So it's pretty much a pick em fight for me, would love to see that fight in the future (if Universum has the balls to do it).
Are you serious? I can understand Fury being a bit chin doubtful, but Price was sucker punched in one of his fights, and he stayed on his feet and walked to the corner to get his gloves adjusted. I don't think Price has a questionable chin at all. And most of these up and coming Russian Heavyweights are vastly overrated until they face decent opposition. Not to forget that Price is 6'9 and has great power. I'd love for him to face Wlad Klitschko, just so Klitschko can finally fight someone taller and bigger than himself, instead of all these shorter, out of shape opponents.
boytsov would knock fury out the man eats way to many over hand rights..price though would be a tough fight to call at the min as the jury is still out on him..
